We had the mushroom soup, quiche, the Elizabethan sandwich (cucumber and cream cheese), and a piece of chocolate cake for dessert. And tea, of course! Everything was excellent, and the service was great. The main tea room is lined with teapots and tea cups, and each table has lovely china tea cups for each guest. The chocolate cake was superb - a deep ganache-type filling with whipped cream.
We will definitely be going back.
We come back here frequently. The soups are always fresh and delicious. Each day and week is something different. Great selection of teas, a fun atmosphere, and top notch service every time.
This was the most enchanting and delightful dining experience from the atmosphere to the service but especially the food! I felt like I was a storybook character. I loved it!

The decor features rustic photos of the British royals, old tea cups, pots and saucers, antique tables and chairs, and mismatched china, creating a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The menu offers traditional British high tea and ploughman's lunch, both of which are delicious and thoughtfully presented on fine china. The food is fresh, refined, and beautifully arranged. The tea room is also famous for its amazing scones with cream and preserve, as well as the coconut cream pie and Key Lime pie, which is one of the most enjoyed desserts. The chocolate cake remains highly recommended, and even the gluten-free options are tasty. The staff are dressed in lovely aprons and dresses, and they are friendly, helpful, and attentive, making every visit pleasant. Despite occasional longer waits for seating, the overall experience is excellent, and the high tea offers good value. It is a place that visitors find charming and worth returning to for a special, leisurely meal.
