It was our first time and we loved it! The atmosphere is amazing, such a serene and beautiful view. The food was very good, freshly prepared, good portions and nice taste. Definitely coming back for the experience. Only the generator sound was a bit high, but totally understandable.

Not a bad place to stop for a snack / meal.
Located in the Nicholls Gas Station / Convenience Store parking lot. Ample place to park. Takes debit. Pricing is reasonable. Friendly. Our first time experience: Very good. My accomplice was happy with his smash cheeseburger. They use the good quality cheese curds on their poutine too. Fries are good / tasty (not your pre-peeled store-bought variety) - thinner, and skins left on.
We'll be returning - for sure.
As for the Nicholls Convenience Store: A gem of a spot, for a local general-type store. Great samosas that come up from Ottawa on a regular basis (beef or veggie). Run / Staffed by lovely folks.

Every visit to The Rocking Dock is a unique experience. Fantastic service, amazing food! Highly recommend trying the philly sub or the burgers. Everything is fresh and delicious! This was a special they had in the summer and it was amazing!
This is a gem! Get a delicious meal or snack beside the water! Their Phillies cheese steak is off the charts! I've also had their routine and seafood options. Tonight was the calamari, Yum!

Good food, but showed up to our school (Pierre Elliott Trudeau) with a broken deep fryer, no drinks, and food for 150 instead of 350. The lineups were huge and parent volunteers had to scramble to help him out, including by getting him a deep fryer and more food. Absolute disaster, totally unprofessional and unprepared. Never get this truck to cater your event.

The Rocking Dock attended the Great Galetta Gathering 2024 on July 27. I heard so many compliments on the food! I can also say, first-hand (first-stomach?) that what I ate was GREAT! I will definitely make a point to see them again before the season ends.
Vender for Holy Redeemer Elementary school bbq. Totally unprepared, made 200+ people wait three hours if they wanted a chance to eat some under cooked fries and a sloppily thrown together burger. Organizers offered to help, he kept saying no. Totally incompetent. Wouldn’t hire for more than a ten kid birthday party.

I know the owner personally. I've been a customer for a few years. I'm opening my own food trailer in carleton place. Let me say.....this is one of the best food trucks in the Ottawa area. The food is top notch and the service is fast and friendly. The kind of food I would serve. Try it out. You won't be sorry.
