“Sammy's has become our absolute go to for breakfast. The staff are amazing, friendly and precise. I always feel so welcomed here. The food is amazing and I love the family diner atmosphere that is missing from most restaurant establishments. Lynn and Marianne are by far my favorite waitresses. They always make my 89yr old Nana feel like she is their special customer and it warms my heart so much. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.“

“This location is always slammed and I can’t imagine working in a place like this. I always try to be kind to the workers here. They are always kind back, the food was standard for NYF. Overall the atmosphere can be chaotic but if you are kind to these guys they will be kind back.“

“One of my personal favourite restaurants to eat at; this place has been around since 1984. Amazing food, awesome friendly staff, and a very contemporary vibe overall. You can ask for a board to play trivia on, and the family section is a great place to bring children. Always packed around 6:00pm. My family and I have been coming here our whole lives and we have grown to love the staff and the restaurant. I would 100% recommend to a friend 👍“

“I was craving for Biryani with the authentic taste,after googling this restaurant and went for dine in. We ordered boneless chicken Biryani, lamb Biryani,paneer sizzler,garlic naan and chicken 65. Everything was delicious and exactly what I was craving for in Biryani, taste not spicy yet very flavorful. Portions size was great,took left over home. Kaushal was very polite and helpful, will definitely come back.“

“Had breakfast 3 of us. Excellent! Service was attentive, and pleasant. Food was hot, tasty, well prepared. Loved their home fries (real sliced cooked potatoes, with onion and chopped green peppers). Atmosphere was exceptionally clean, relaxed. So pleased to have this place close by in our neighbourhood.“

“This is a MUST GO TO Restaurant. I went for breakfast on March 20/23. My experience started with the best service from General Manager Gary Anthony. He was friendly, informative, and fast. The breakfast menu has everything. I love Eggs Bennie. While my style was not on the menu, Gary made it happen anyway. THE BEST EGGS BENNIE EVER! Gary recommended the Banana/Orange/Strawberry juice (it says fresh on the menu). I asked if it was "that grocery store brand" that shall not be named here. He said NO, we made it fresh from real fruit in the blender. It was like a smoothie from heaven. I will return often. While I live about 30 - 40 k from this restaurant (I had an appointment near it that morning) - I will be returning again and often. Next time I'm bringing my wife - She'll love it. Thank you Gary.“

“Went to this location for the first time last week Friday and it was fantastic. The lady at the counter was great. I ordered suya, plantain and puff puff - it was fresh and very delicious. The puff puff comes in the cute black and yellow design bag.

I went again yesterday. This time I ordered just the suya and puff puff and it tasted amazing as well. Definitely check them out. I know I'll be back again.“

“The golden fish maw soup hotpot meal set for two is absolutely one of to best I’ve had in a long time. The taste is spot on. The beef is exquisite and the homemade meatballs are so dense and no nonsense type. The chicken is fresh. Great ambience overall as well. Highly recommended! The coconut milk dessert that’s on the house as an added bonus just about seals the deal!“

“In the few days that I was in Toronto to catch a Rock concert, I was fully compelled to eat here twice. Excellent food, beautiful vintage decor, unmatched vibe. I’ll be absolutely certain to visit here again the next time that I am in Toronto. 💖“
