“I ordered a cake slab from Irresistible Cakes (icakes) just a few days before my event, and the process was seamless. Their customer service was fantastic throughout! However, on the day of the event, I found myself stuck on the DVP for 3 hours due to an unexpected highway closure (yes, I was late). To make things worse, there was a mix-up with the delivery address – Ave instead of Rd.

Thankfully, icakes went above and beyond by instructing the driver to reroute, even though they didn’t have to, and I was beyond grateful for their flexibility. I can’t guarantee they’d do this for everyone, as they have a pretty thorough policy, but their willingness to help saved the day.

Luckily, someone was at the event to receive the cake, and it was a hit with everyone! Huge thanks to icakes for the excellent experience, and a special shoutout to the driver! Of course, I made sure to tip!“

“We came here for my parents anniversary and my mom absolutely loved the cakes! My grandma and grandpa liked the 3 15 cake. I got a ramen cake for my birthday and it was delicious. The designs are so creative too that I do not want to eat it.“

“Not the biggest cafe out there, but the food is good, the drinks are pretty high-quality, and the basement is perfect for anyone who wants to do some quiet studying to lo-fi hip-hop beats. The only real issue is that the bathroom isn't accessible as it's in the basement. That said, it is a great spot.“

“I ordered 2 dozen strawberry vanilla cupcakes for my daughter’s Simchat Bat. They were really cute, good ratio of cake to frosting, the cake was moist and tasty and the frosting was yummy! Overall very sweet, and it may be a personal preference, but for me both the cake and frosting needed a little salt to balance the sweetness. I would definitely order again!“

“My partner and I went for their Studio Ghibli themed high tea, first ever experience doing this kinda thing and it was very nice! food was flavourful, great portions and awesome service everyone was polite.
A little pricy but 10/10 very worth it between the food and service, no doubt you have to experience their events at least once.
Last note it’s also very cute they have small artist vendor art for you to buy like a convention stall!“

“The 2-tier cake that I recently ordered for my daughter’s birthday was absolutely amazing! The cake decorator/designer, Julia was so lovely since the beginning of the process at the time I met her in-person. She demonstrated above and beyond customer service checking in and calling days prior to confirm details and any last minute changes/cake design requests I wanted. Julia is so lovely and thoughtful and I very much appreciate it. Big thanks to Liron as well for coordinating the order and making my cake budget worth every dollar. Both cake flavours I requested were so tasty and not too sweet.

“They sell chocolates, cakes, cookies, hot & cold beverages. They specialize in custom-made chocolates and cakes and they have their display filled with so many beautiful chocolates with different flavors like white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate.

I got a “Red Velvet Snack Cake” to go. It was pre-chilled and you can keep it up to 24 hours in fridge. But make sure to leave it in room temperature for about 20 minutes before serving it. It was delicious and we went through half of it in one go. Lol“

“My experience was amazing from the first conversation! My daughter had a vision for her 4th birthday cake (The shape and decorations were a little different to normal young people cakes) and this wonderful human brought it to life!!! Nothing was too hard for her even if my requests were a little weird. When we picked up the cake my daughters face said it all. And then to top other off the my guests loved the taste. Cannot wait to need a cake again soon!“

Imagine putting cream into the fridge so it’s a little firmer, but still creamy and light to the bite.So good to throw it inside a bun and with flavours! The mango one had actual bits of mango which was so refreshingThey have a few other items like these egg tarts, but they’re super thick and the tiger skin rolls which look amazing in the pictures.People working there were super friendly and tried answering my questions even with a bit of language barrier. “First of all, the char on this burger is absolutely phenomenal. I personally love the smoky taste that the burger has, also I like how the burgers are not cooked to medium well. The banquet burger has always been top notch. On the other hand, I am not a big fan of their chicken sandwiches. I love friend chicken but I tend to find it a bit bland and not really flavourful. Overall amazing place.“

“Baskin-Robbins at Victoria Terrace is a delightful spot for ice cream lovers. My family and I visited recently and were thoroughly impressed. The variety of flavors was fantastic, with each one tasting fresh and delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient, even as my kids took their time deciding on their choices. The store was clean and inviting, making our visit even more enjoyable. From classic flavors to creative new options, Baskin-Robbins exceeded our expectations. “What a wonderful wonderful job of customer service. I was undergoing a colonoscopy and the doctor was very specific that I should not have any fiber.Well by mistake my wife picked up a flavor that said 0 fibre on the main Baskin website but on the container itself it said 2 grams of fibre.Not realizing, i opened it and had a little bit of it when i saw it had 2 grams. My wife went back and explained what happened. I did not think they would take it back but the owner - His name is Uzair took the opened container back and my wife exchanged it for another flavor with no fibre.I thought that was exception customer service and Azair should be commended for his wonderful customer service. “I tried the monthly flavour and decided to stay with an old time favourite. Originally, the flavour I loved was raspberry cheesecake but it was replaced by a similar type several years ago. I purchased a kid size of strawberry cheesecake. Servers were helpful and friendly. Outdoor patio in front of the store is happening.“

“My favorite place in Toronto for ice cream! The flavors are rich and creamy. The store on Avenue doesn't have parking but it's a nice little walk from home or we park up the street and walk to it. My son loves their ice creams too! Lots of fun flavors and toppings for kids. I'm yet to try their pop corn or ice cream cakes but will do soon! Wish they had dining accommodation but they don't. Excellent customer service and great menu selection. They have a fridge in-store for larger tubs if you'd like take-away or for a party. They also do Ubereats ?“
