“I ordered a cake slab from Irresistible Cakes (icakes) just a few days before my event, and the process was seamless. Their customer service was fantastic throughout! However, on the day of the event, I found myself stuck on the DVP for 3 hours due to an unexpected highway closure (yes, I was late). To make things worse, there was a mix-up with the delivery address – Ave instead of Rd.

Thankfully, icakes went above and beyond by instructing the driver to reroute, even though they didn’t have to, and I was beyond grateful for their flexibility. I can’t guarantee they’d do this for everyone, as they have a pretty thorough policy, but their willingness to help saved the day.

Luckily, someone was at the event to receive the cake, and it was a hit with everyone! Huge thanks to icakes for the excellent experience, and a special shoutout to the driver! Of course, I made sure to tip!“

“I ordered 2 dozen strawberry vanilla cupcakes for my daughter’s Simchat Bat. They were really cute, good ratio of cake to frosting, the cake was moist and tasty and the frosting was yummy! Overall very sweet, and it may be a personal preference, but for me both the cake and frosting needed a little salt to balance the sweetness. I would definitely order again!“

“My partner and I went for their Studio Ghibli themed high tea, first ever experience doing this kinda thing and it was very nice! food was flavourful, great portions and awesome service everyone was polite.
A little pricy but 10/10 very worth it between the food and service, no doubt you have to experience their events at least once.
Last note it’s also very cute they have small artist vendor art for you to buy like a convention stall!“

“I would like to recommend Victoria K Cakes to anyone looking for theme cakes for a celebration! My family has been ordering cakes from them for the last 5 years and they are always gorgeous. I have included a picture for my daughter’s 21st birthday party and it was a big hit! We chose strawberry shortcake filling and it was delicious. 😋“

“A hidden gem in the plaza beside Longos. I ordered a custom cake and called Julia twice with some specific requests. She truly delivered and did a FANTASTIC job!! The price was also extremely reasonable - a tall 8” cake topped with four macarons came up to $55. It was moist, decadent, and not too sweet. If I was to be very picky, I would request the hazelnut in the buttercream to be crushed into smaller pieces and caution the pistachio and mocha flavours in the macarons were not prominent. Still, a solid 5/5 and I will order here again. Thank you for the special cake for a special person :)“

My daughter had a vision for her 4th birthday cake (The shape and decorations were a little different to normal young people cakes) and this wonderful human brought it to life!!! Imagine putting cream into the fridge so it’s a little firmer, but still creamy and light to the bite.So good to throw it inside a bun and with flavours! The mango one had actual bits of mango which was so refreshingThey have a few other items like these egg tarts, but they’re super thick and the tiger skin rolls which look amazing in the pictures.People working there were super friendly and tried answering my questions even with a bit of language barrier. “First of all, the char on this burger is absolutely phenomenal. I personally love the smoky taste that the burger has, also I like how the burgers are not cooked to medium well. The banquet burger has always been top notch. On the other hand, I am not a big fan of their chicken sandwiches. I love friend chicken but I tend to find it a bit bland and not really flavourful. Overall amazing place.“

“I tried the monthly flavour and decided to stay with an old time favourite. Originally, the flavour I loved was raspberry cheesecake but it was replaced by a similar type several years ago. I purchased a kid size of strawberry cheesecake. Servers were helpful and friendly. Outdoor patio in front of the store is happening.“

“My favorite place in Toronto for ice cream! The flavors are rich and creamy. The store on Avenue doesn't have parking but it's a nice little walk from home or we park up the street and walk to it. My son loves their ice creams too! Lots of fun flavors and toppings for kids. I'm yet to try their pop corn or ice cream cakes but will do soon! Wish they had dining accommodation but they don't. Excellent customer service and great menu selection. They have a fridge in-store for larger tubs if you'd like take-away or for a party. They also do Ubereats ?“

“Great location, great service - however, I’ve gone to get ice cream multiple times recently (where I’ve checked the hours of operation here on google) and it’s been closed. Perhaps update the hours to reflect when you’re open and closed? Would be greatly appreciated. We all need out BR fix“
