“From the moment you walk into Fifth Chute it is abundantly clear that this is a very special place. Absolutely all of the goods (sourdough bread, scones, cookies, squares, muffins, pies, pizzas, sandwiches, flavour syrups, almond milk, etc.) are made from scratch in house. The available retail items are carefully hand picked ensuring good quality, local products. The space itself is magical; located in an old, well restored building with many cool, original features set on the bank of the Bonnechere River (the views are incredible). And to top off this already ideal place, there is a strong focus on permaculture, the arts, and community, not to mention genuinely kind, helpful staff.
