Yes the price has gone up. What hasn't. The food at this location is as good as it has always been. We each had a spicy veal sandwich with mushrooms and a slide of olives. Service was excellent and our order came very quickly. Most importantly the portions have not suffered and the quality is where it has always been.
No such thing as a bad sandwich at California, in this case chicken in a tomato sauce with zucchini. Size wise this is a big sandwich, and can get a little messy but delicious to the last bite. Staff are always welcoming and smiling
“Xtra Hot” is more like a mild.
Sandwich seemed more soggy than usual. Kinda short on the tomato sauce too🥫
Most importantly, please clean your washrooms, and fix your latches, they gross.
Overall still a decent joint. I’d give it another chance, normally better than this.
