We visited the Sherway Gardens and decided to try out the Danish Pastry House. We have an innate liking for rum balls and gave that a shot first. At 6 rum balls for $6, it seemed a deal one could not refuse. And we were not disappointed. They were delicious to say the least and not saccharine sweet as we were used to having before from other bakeries. Clearly, the Danish Pastry House became our favorite for rum balls and we will look no further in future. Then my husband decided to try the chicken quiche and we loved it too! So we decided to take out some double Belgian chocolate brownie and chocolate chip cookie for home. Very friendly staff too.

We went to try the Danish Morning Bun, chocolate snail bread, and croissant. Decent and ok, nothing special.

The pastries at Danish Pastry House in Sherway Gardens look amazing, but unfortunately, they didn’t taste as good as they appeared. I found most of them to be overly sweet, which overshadowed any subtle flavors they might have had.
I was especially disappointed with the iced coffee. It tasted stale and lacked freshness — more like it had been sitting in a dispenser all day (which it visibly had) rather than made fresh. My homemade iced coffee is much better.
Overall, the place has a nice aesthetic and presentation, but the quality didn’t quite meet my expectations.

As a regular customer who genuinely enjoys your offerings, it’s disappointing to say that the service experience lately has been far from satisfying. It’s not about calling anyone out personally, but there seems to be a consistent lack of training—especially when it comes to preparing something as basic as coffee. Orders are often made incorrectly, and what’s more concerning is the attitude that follows when you try to address the mistake.
Good customer service goes a long way—especially when patrons are investing their time and money. A little courtesy and attention to detail can make all the difference. Right now, it feels like both are missing. It may be time to consider refreshing the team or providing some much-needed customer service and product training. Your customers deserve better.

Pastries are excellent. Croissants are very flaky and buttery. The høj snegl and kanel snegl taste just like the ones I had during my time in Denmark. Service is fairly hit and miss though. I have been at this location where workers are friendly and know what's going on, and sometimes I have come here and the workers can't seem to understand what I'm saying. Why work at a Danish bakery if you can't even take the time to learn the pronunciation of the pastry names? Overall, this location is fine, but I prefer the one in Oakville or Union Station.

I recently visited the Danish Pastry House at Sherway Gardens and was impressed by their offerings. The hot chocolate I ordered was exceptionally creamy and rich, providing a delightful treat for cold weather. The bakery is renowned for its authentic Danish pastries, breads, and desserts. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a perfect spot for a relaxing break while shopping. I look forward to returning to sample more of their delectable pastries.

While the roast beef sandwich was undeniably delicious, the service left a lot to be desired. The menu's lack of clarity around the cardamom latte, which I mistook for a chai latte, led to an unfortunate misunderstanding. Despite explaining my error, the staff refused to accommodate my request for a change. This inflexibility ultimately overshadowed the positive aspects of the meal, prompting me to leave both the drink untouched and the establishment dissatisfied.

Would easily give it 0 stars. Seen the Indian girl working here packing orders for all the white folks. But as soon as the Asian lady came she didn't pack it. The Asian lady requested it to be packed since she was carrying things. The Indian worker then packed it and literally threw it on the counter!?!? Danish Pasty employee was a racist and discriminated against this poor lady.

The product is great, unfortunately the stuff lacking the service skills. Seems like they don't know that simple words " enjoy it , see you again" would impact the customer feel about company.
