There is a reason that this restaurant has been in business for as long as it has, and that's down to the amazing food and the community atmosphere. I grew up eating here and while I don't live in the neighborhood anymore I will still make the trip across the city to eat here a few times a year!
A true hidden gem for traditional Italian grandma-style pizza, generously loaded with cheese. Be sure to ask for it well done, as the base tends to soften quickly under the toppings.

My wife and I enjoy take out from Il Paesano every couple of months. Quality is great - from tasty crust (and I dont typically like crust) to good amount of toppings.
We've only ever had positive experiences with the staff as well, which is a treat.
