I love their ambiance and coffee, but I was disappointed at the lack of accessibility for moms with babies. There was no ramp so getting the stroller in requires two people, and no high chairs for a baby/toddler to sit in. The staff seemed annoyed when I inquired about a high chair, which gave the impression that a mom with a baby is not totally welcome there. I would love to see this lovely neighbourhood coffee shop be more accessible to local moms.
Jimmy's Coffee on Royal York Road is top notch in every sense of the word. Immaculate vibes, great service and high quality coffee. It's a special and quaint shop with some awesome merch to boot.
Since arriving in Toronto, I’ve been on a mission to find coffee that matches my Aussie palate—and Jimmy’s absolutely delivers. Smooth espresso, well-balanced milk, and no burnt bitterness in sight. It’s the first place I’ve found that nails the kind of latte I’d expect back home. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it an easy favorite.
