I went Makimono by accident and it was one of best mistakes I’ve made in my love for sushi. I went during a busy time and the welcoming was a little short but that was it negative wise. They aren’t your typical sushi place, often when I go to sushi restaurants I feel rushed to finish my food and get out because all my food comes out pretty close together, here that was the opposite dishes came spaced apart and I wasn’t overwhelmed by the food. NOT just another airport strip resturant ,this was truely some of the best rolls I've had in quite awhile.

Such a good sushi experience! Bryan and Komal were so amazing amongst all of the wonderful staff!

They really paid attention to the details! My sashimi was so fresh it came out in ice and was very thick! They had things I never heard of before.

I also like that you could get single sushi, and they were mindful of not bombarding you with sushi. It didn’t all come out at once made it feel very intentional and not overwhelming.
