I like the coffee and breakfast sandwiches here—a much appreciated alternative to Starbucks and Tim's—but they really need to do something about the fruit flies and actual flies that are everywhere in the cafe. I see them every time I come here, even in the cold months. If I'm sitting down, I have to constantly swat the bugs away lest they kiss the lip of my coffee cup. It doesn't give me confidence about the cleanliness of their food and bakery items.

I visited yesterday at Second Cup, Islington location. Jaspreet provided me very good service & recommended me new drinks & offered me a carrot loaf with me drink. Great staff & Customer service.

I feel bad for the baristas here. Always running around and multi tasking while management/owners stand around and do nothing. Looking unimpressed. Even when there's a line up at the door or cars waiting. Help your employees. Also, manager just chills vaping on the patio..such a good look.
Baristas are so lovely and friendly they deserve better.
