Surprised about how good the haddock and chips were. Good sized fish. Nice crispy flavourful batter. Tasty waffle fries. Perfectly paired with a Stella. Any fish and chip lover should give this a try if they are in the area.
The atmosphere and view is perfect from the Stella Artois patio. The servers are always so friendly and attentive! Food and drinks are a bit pricy for what you get. We know what to expect and return for the experience whenever we are in town. You can also sound the bugle to bring the horses to the track!
The service was excellent, however, the food was not impressive. I ordered steak and it was very thin and overcooked. The atmosphere was perfect for an afternoon out with friends at the races.
