This might just be one of the best Omakase experiences in the GTA. From the moment you sit down, you know you are in for something special. The place is small and cozy and not at all pretentious. Chef Mitsuhiro Kaji oversees the whole operation and you see him at work right in front of you, which is a treat to observe. And the food is out of this world! Absolutely amazing! The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the experience and food quality is incredible. Can't wait to come back here! Portions are small but there's a lot of them so it's definitely worth the price. Each dish has a very unique flavor and the staff come over to explain each one in detail. There wasn't a single dish we didn't like here.
I was very excited to try Sushi Kaji as it was one of the original omakase in Toronto, it set the foundation for omakase in the city. Overall the food quality and variety was excellent with very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
