The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Sherway Gardens

Everything was fantastic. My only critique would have been the peppercorn striploin steak I had. Maybe I should have asked how is was prepared before I ordered it. I thought it would have been more of a peppercorn sauce of sorts on it not completely covered in it. Not a big fan of a spicy steak.

I've always loved the Keg and have been to them in different cities. They always exceed my expectations for service and the food is consistently delicious, regardless of which location. The Sherway one has a great vibe and overall atmosphere. Worth mentioning that aside from great steaks, The Keg has a shockingly good Tuna Tartare. Which I've had many times as my main dish, when travelling on my own for business.

We had an excellent experience at the Keg Sherway. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. We were celebrating a birthday and we will be returning again soon. Thank you!

Food is great at this location. The steak is always perfectly done to our liking. Kyle, our waiter was very attentive. Lots of free parking is a bonus.

Great evening. We had wonderful service and the food was delicious. It was a celebratory dinner and everyone was terrific. We had a steak (one out of three) that was overdone and it was replaced quickly and with apologies. While we didn't need the complimentary dessert, it was delicious. Many thanks.

Had the pleasure of dining here the other day with my wife for our anniversary. We were served by Raya who was easily one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Everything from the service, food, staff and general atmosphere of this restaurant is top tier!

Ordered the Caesar salad for lunch and added grilled chicken. Honestly the piece of chicken was so small they could have called it a chicken medallion. The salad was $18 which is not cheap but $9 for that small piece of chicken was ridiculous.

If you like waiting, this is the perfect place to go. I will never understand requiring a reservation but not having the table ready for the client upon arrival.

We made reservations for 7pm on a Saturday, noticing they have a policy where they only have a 15 minute grace period, we decided it would be best to arrive at 6:45pm and wait until 7pm to be seated. Instead, we were made to wait until 7:30pm before we were seated.

So, they only give the guest 15 minutes to run late, but are willing to have you wait 30 minutes for a table despite having a reservation? This is not right.

The food was good, no complaints there but again, when we asked for the bill we waited another 15 minutes. After waiting 10 minutes I told our party of 5 that I would deal with the bill and that they were free to leave as I'd catch up with them later, no point in having all of us sitting around waiting. All in all we spent over 1 hour just waiting (45 minutes within their control as I understand they have no obligation to seat us early). I will not be back and honestly this has soured my taste of the Keg franchise as a whole.

The keg continues to impress with the quality of its steak and cooking at its price point. Our server was cordial and attentive. Been to a few keg locations and this one was equally upscale, and had an ideal noise level. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, I’ll be back for sure !
