Vital Planet Health Shop

Purchased a Sweets from the Earth cookie from near the cash was not given change it was $1.50 and gave $2 not a big deal but not honest either. Didn’t look at the expiration date but it was April 17, it’s May 14. Beware if you buy anything here check the dates and I’d pay with credit or Debit to ensure you are charged the correct amount. Sad too cause they have lots of things I buy regularly, and would buy there but this was a bad experience. I’ll stick with Healthy Planet and Whole Foods from now on. I hope they enjoy the $2 cause they won’t be getting anymore from me.

I have been coming to this shop for a few years. The owner is very helpful. The store is clean and I find a really good selection of products. Also it is always great to shop local!

Amazing variety for all kinds of products and prices are on par for big box stores that carry the same brands so might as well support the local shop. . .not to mention all of the stuff you can’t get in the organic/natural section of grocery stores.

What company on this earth has customer service like Vital Planet? Nobody! Not one place I’ve ever called has anything on this family owned operation! Thank you!!!!

Great shop with all the usual things a health food store has and reasonable prices. The owner Shawn is an easy going guy- if you can't find what you need, ask him.

I wish I could score -0 stars for this place, the owner disgusting rude with 0 customer services skills, I am not sure if the fact that I am hispanic made me no welcome in the store.I have never provided a bad review in my life, I understand is hard is to survive in business, I also understand how hard our economy is, so I can forgive a bad day; anyone has it, “me included”; but I do not stand for people kicking out other people because they are not “paying customers”Disgusting!! You should consider not to be in business if you think you can choose what type of people could enter or not your store.

I have been a regular over the past year and can honestly say one can live very well on what this “little store that could” offers (except fresh fruit and veggies). The selection is well thought out, including plant meat alternatives, organic cheese and dairy and alternatives, eggs, breads (frozen), soups and condiments, cleaning products, cosmetics, supplements, ice creams, candles, packaged and loose leaf teas and much more. While big chains do carry some of these items, if you don’t feel like or can’t be driving, there is this convenient neighborhood alternative. The owner/operator and staff are outgoing and always glad to help out, too.

My husband and I walked into Vital Planet Health Shop today. It looked like a fresh new shop so I was interested. He did not even looked up from the friend he was talking to when we came in. I went up and down a couple of aisle. When we were walking out he said is there anything I can help you with? I felt to little to late. Which is what I told him. On the way out the door he called me a c*nt.

I love this store and I try to drop in when I’m in the neighbourhood. Great selection of kombucha and a wide variety of inventory considering the space in the store. The staff are very friendly and helpful, sometimes I drop in to say hello! I’m always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome! Thank you for providing great service to the community!

Had an amazing smoothie today made by Shawn. Delicious with Peach Spinach and Banana. He also helped me with herbal remedies for my gout that have improved my pain and mobility significantly! I highly recommend dropping in for his smoothie creations and knowledge about better living!
