Had a good time for my Father's 80th bday, but a few messy moments. My husband's chicken pesto sandwich arrived without chicken and two other table's bills were added to ours for a $1000 overcharge. After two attempts to give us this bill, they recognized their error, but took 30minutes to sort it out when we needed to leave. Overall it was a fun afternoon, but a bit of a disappointing ending.
It was our first time at the Woodbine Club and we will be back. There were 4 of us, and we got seated at a 6 person table which was wonderful, because we needed the room to spread out because we were exchanging Christmas gifts. It was wonderful for us to be able to gab, eat, drink, exchange gifts, bet on the horseys and spend the entire afternoon into the evening there. The ambience was great, the food delicious, AND we will be back!!
Food was fantastic. Service a great. Jen was our server. The chef recommended the apple tart for dessert and it was also fantastic.
