Bonnie Lou's Cafe offers an excellent dining experience with a delicious buffet featuring roast beef, turkey, mashed potatoes, and a variety of freshly baked pies. This restaurant is a little hidden gem, highly recommended for those seeking home-cooked food and desserts, especially the turkey dinner, which comes with pie. The staff provides great service in a cozy and authentic atmosphere, making it a perfect choice for those with dietary restrictions.
The cafe is often busy, with many customers placing large orders for family dinners and their popular rolls. Everything is made from scratch, ensuring quality and flavor. Visitors have praised the pumpkin torte as a must-try, describing it as delicious and not overly sweet. The restaurant is charming and bustling with energy, especially during busy hours.
Bonnie Lou's Cafe has a lovely interior and provides a fantastic meal special that offers great value for the price. Both the sandwiches and desserts are phenomenal, and the hot coffee is perfect for a cozy experience. The antique decor makes it a charming spot for a weekend morning out of the city. There is free parking behind the building, and if that lot is full, parking is available nearby with beautiful views. The cafe is also kid-friendly, with plenty of high chairs and space for children. With friendly staff and everything fabulously good, Bonnie Lou's Cafe is the place to be for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
