The 3 Jacks Steak Restaurant

2 of us went for the 5.99 breakfast. Our total was 19.60 after tax, before tip.
Breakfast was basic. 2 eggs, choice of 1 meat, home fries (no seasoning and slightly burnt and oily) and toast. Wasn't informed when ordering that my rye toast is a 50 cent upcharge.

We didn’t know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. Everything was freshly made and delicious. It did take some time but was well worth the wait. The wife had the souvlaki tacos and I had the fish-n-chips. Although the two fish portions looked small it was just about the right amount for me. Far too may fries meant that some came home. 😉 For such wonderful food it was disappointing to see that we were the only customers during what should have been the supper rush.

We gave this a try yesterday and although we were a little disappointed that the rare steak my husband ordered was not rare in the slightest, it was still very flavourful and tender. It seemed pretty small as well for the price tag attached to it. but, I guess all food prices are going up.
I ordered the chicken curry, and the spice was right on the money! So good! a few bones to dig out, but just reminded me of a good ol' home cooked meal.
