One of the best meals I have had in the Thousand Islands region! Service was also exceptional paired with a cozy yet refined atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again.

We were so impressed and felt so welcome last night when we took our family (kids 5 and 2) for dinner at Riva. As my 2 year old was having a “moment” and I was doing EVERYTHING I could to settle him down (internally freaking out that we just became “that” family) - a waitress pulled me aside and put me at ease: “ I just wanted to let you know that we have kids in here all the time- of all ages. And the thing is, most of us in here are parents. We get it. Please don’t feel embarrassed or that they need to act a certain way.”
It was all I could do to not cry from her kindness. I will never forget this and will tell all young parents about this experience. This is a kindness and empathy that more restaurants need to embody. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

A beautiful place . We went there last evening . The friendly waitress brought us the menu and took our drink order . She returned shortly with the drinks and took our food order . 20 minutes later we received our date salad which was delicious . Then we waited and waited for the main meal . After 35 minutes, I asked the waitress where our food was . She explained nicely, it would be another “ few” minutes. We have to get the food to the patrons going to the play “ first.”. Really?? That wasn’t mentioned when taking our order ! So 45 minutes after ordering the food came .it was nicely presented . However, there was no mention that the crusted salmon would have chili and cracked pepper sprinkled generously on it ! At that point there was no point in sending it back and wait another 45 minutes . So, once scraped off, it was tolerable. Unlikely to return !

The food is beautifully plated and delicious. Truly some of the best meals I've eaten. When the weather is suitable, book a table on their patio and enjoy the slow jazz playing alongside the gentle watery sounds of their central fountain.

The property is very inviting, the staff are exceptional, the food and wine although expensive was well presented and very enjoyable. I very nearly left, though, becau se we waited 70 minutes for food to arrive. I sincerely hope this was an oversite.

The food was excellent, however we felt ignored. No bread basket, we were given one small glass of water and it was never refilled, and it took so long for anyone to come ask us if we wanted desert we were no longer interested.
