Authentic Cantonese in Ottawa, and not many restaurants can consistently deliver at this level. The dishes have good 鑊氣. The 豆腐花 is the best in town!

Canton Restaurant offers a neat and decent dining experience with a large variety of foods. Portions are generous, and the food is described as super nice, with quality as good as big restaurants. Specific dishes like beef and broccoli and chicken chop Suey were found delicious. The tofu for dessert is very smooth, silky, and tasty. Service is friendly, attentive, and gracious. The restaurant features old-style Chinese cuisine, with many dishes available by number. Sizzling plates are spectacular, and small size soups are superbly tasty. Some tables include a rotating center for dish sharing.
