“You don’t have to be Greek to love this place ! The Nutty Greek Bake Shop is so much more than just a bake shop . I always find it so hard to choose among the amazing selection of desserts ,pastries and cookies and other Greek delicacies. Who can pass up a piece of chocolate brownie Baklava ,Baklava Cheesecake or a Lemon and Ricotta filled Bougatsa ?! Just to name a few …The salads ,Pita Wraps ,Pita Combos ( lunch or dinner) are also all amazing .They even cater to groups.I recently brought a platter of mini Cheesecake Baklavas and Feta Cheesecake with a Sour Cherry topping to an event and they were a huge hit ! Everything is made from scratch and baked/ prepared daily with a whole lotta “Greek “love . I discovered this amazing place a few years ago having moved from Trto and having lived in Montreal .We here in Ottawa have the best of the best with The Nutty Greek Bakery .🇬🇷🇨🇦🥰 Kudos to Anna and the entire Papadopoulos family !“

“The evening was amazing. Service was very great with a very lovely server who explained the menu inside and out for us. She was a very seasoned server who knew the menu. The platter we shared was by far one of the Best Mediterranean platters even. Servings were plentiful and everything was absolutely delicious. We'll be back for sure. Bravo EVOO!“

“Zero complaints about this spot. The lineup wasn`t bad at all considering the time at which I went (12:00 PM) and although they didn`t have what I wanted on the menu, they accommodated me. “A Monday night well spent ! The food was amazing. It was busy when we got there, but the waitress was fast to take our order. We got the snails as an appetizer to start. They came piping hot, with the garlic butter still sizzling. I got the butterfly shrimps and my husband got the fliet mignon brochette, both we great. “Hadn't been since the pre-interwebs days. It was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ back then and a regular destination for my co-workers and I. Knowing I'd be in the vicinity, I decided to check and see if 30 years had changed it at all.

The answer? Nothing has changed! Warm and welcoming faces to greet you as you enter. Attentive and speedy service. And mouth watering food.

Hopefully it won't be another 30 years before I go again...

“Updated review: they removed the Philly burger. I used to get the Philly burger, extra cheese sauce and added coleslaw. It’s the only place in Ottawa that had it, and now it’s gone. I honestly haven’t been back since that’s happened, except for a poutine here n there. While the burgers are still good, I have to drop this down to a 4 star

Old: 5stars but they ain’t open late. First of all their burgers are AMAZING. Easily worth $10. Poutine quality top notch but the employees need to lesson on how to pour gravy and make fries. Wasn't impressed with having tiny end pieces of fries ruining my poutine on multiple occasions. I dont care about your waste product, i want fries. Everything these guys have is perfectly portioned for a man. Food is dope! Meat is GREAT. Their Cheesy zesty sauce is dank btw get it.“
