“This family run restaurant is a hidden gem. I have tried many Pad Thais and this restaurant has the best Pad Thai I have ever had. This restaurant is most accommodating in helping my son, who has gluten and soy sensitivities, find things he can eat. I wish they were closer to me because I would frequent their establishment much more often. Definitely a place to go. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

Tonight, stopped by for take-out. OMG red curry with tofu and vegetables (buy 1 get 1). The curry is DELISH. You need rice to soak up all that curry juice. The tofu was plenty and vegetables were astoundingly fresh. I'd give this place 6 or 7 stars if I could.

“Very tasty pad see ew. My first thought was on how light the colour of the sauce was. I was worried it would taste plain. I was very surprised at the level of flavour achieved with such a light sauce. The next test is how does the beef taste. It tasted fresh and delicious on its own. No hiding old flavour with heavy sauce. The veggies were all fresh and delicious.

9/10 - would love to try all there other dishes.

“Definitely our favourite local Thai food in Orleans. Great to support a small business. They are always friendly when we go to pick up our order. The shrimp spring rolls, coconut sticky rice and green curry with chicken are our favourites but haven't had anything on the menu disappoint. I don't usually write reviews but I don't want this place to ever close so I hope others give it a try and enjoy it too.“

“I really enjoyed the panaeng curry I got and was happy it wasn't a far walk from my office on a freezing cold day. This time was much better than the last time I ordered as the fresh spring rolls I had gotten was not as described in the menu (missing ingredients).“

They are always a reliable lunch option for a healthy portion of Thai stir fries and rice dishes for extremely reasonable prices under $14 at today's inflation rates. The beef Pad Kee is my goto with a decent portion of beef slices and broccoli compared to equivalent Thai Expresses. Noodles are saucy and succulent. Give it a try and support this staple local business who had survived through the pandemic to serve up great stirfries.“

“Best thai express in Ottawa. 'I drop $20 dish here with my Extra options. My fam and I been coming here for 5 years and I will say the service / quality has only gotten better. I regularily order pad thai, stir fry, and pad see eew for myself and my fam. Some places will give you soup instead of noodles because theres too much sauce, but these guys cook the noodles right. They always have their side-sauces available AND with big containers (Why do other locations use small containers? kills me). The rice is always delicious,.. everything is made fast, but not with disrespect. I don't get shrimp because shrimp is weak, so I can't say about shrimp but the beef and chicken is always plentiful.“

“Lemongrass never fails to deliver the best quality Thai food. I’m addicted to their Pineapple Fried Rice and their Wonton Soup. Very tasty and comes in very generous portions. I can say it’s always worth a visit and I always get good value for my money.

She was very polite and made sure I got served on time and also checked to make sure I was happy. Thanks to Hobgi I will be visiting again next week and will try out their Sweet and Sour Tilapia when I visit.“

But be prepared for some steep prices. About $20 per dish. The place itself is cute and has a good vibe. Once I got over the shock of the price, I ended up really enjoying myself! “Alright, so this place kind of struck me as soon as I walked in by just being wonderfully quiet compared to the street outside. I came in on a really hot, busy weekday, and inside it was just serenely quiet and cool. The tables are awesome, even if it’s maybe a weird thing to fixate on, but they’re these big, solid wood tables with like 2 inch thick quartz granite tops. It was really nice to put your arms on the cool granite on a super hot day. It was just a really nice sensory contrast to the street outside.

Their found really improved, it was really good, no funny taste, was fresh, we all loved our dish. It did taste like pad Thai, yay you! You got it!! ?This was my original review in 2020, along with a one star grade:« Beurk. So the business wrote me here so I email them with my comments. Here they are: Im a huge Thai food lover and accept there are many range of flavours in one type of cuisine. Alright. Had a pad Thai, did not taste anything like a pad Thai. And the beef dish was even worst. This was my second visit even though I didn’t like it the first time I thought it was maybe just a one time deal, but my food had a funny taste, like I should not be Eating this and I even threw it away. And I never threw food away ever, not even if it’s expired. «“

“Got take out while grocery shopping, food was delicious, staff was helpful and friendly! Got the rare beef and shrimp pho as well as the chicken and shrimp pho (both chicken broth and rice noodles). Broth was flavourful and the rare beef was actually rare! There was also a nice mix of veggies (bean sprouts, sliced cabbage) and fresh herbs (thai basil, green onions and a dash of cilantro). Shrimp rolls were also tasty and fresh!“
