I came in to purchase gift cards for my children’s teachers and was told there is a $25 minimum per card. I asked the staff member to double-check whether, since my total purchase exceeded $25, it could be split across three separate cards. She checked with someone in the back and the answer was no. I also had to wait for them to cook and serve breakfast to people before they brought me my cheesecake. Unfortunately, I won’t be back. Putting a minimum on what people spend is selfish.

I’d give more than 5 stars for ambience if I could. Cafe is designed brilliantly for its confined space. Classy and menu is not pricy at all. My comfort space in Guelph, without a doubt. Mostly crowded, I understand tho - who wants to leave such place to focus, work and study.

We decided to try this cafe for the first time, and it was a complete disappointment. The place was full of students sitting for hours with laptops, making it feel more like a noisy library than a coffee shop. The cheesecake slice was ridiculously small — about two bites for ten dollars. When we were leaving, one of the baristas gave us an openly unfriendly look, which felt uncomfortable and disrespectful. To make it worse, the dark roast I ordered tasted weak and flat, more like a medium roast. For the prices they charge, you expect at least decent service and good coffee. Unfortunately, we got neither.

This place had the worst bubble tea/milk tea. I ordered 3 bubble teas and it was horrendous. It was so thin and watery. Basically water with sugar and boba. I was so disappointed to order on my birthday. Expected at least fairly ok drink. 1/10. Coffee and cake slices are great. But never order milk tea. I wasted 16 dollars

Honestly I kinda love this shop. The food is priced reasonably and quality is good. The art and atmosphere is really nice and welcoming featuring local artist and variety of art from installations to abstract to photography. There's a book library and the decor is nice we'll kept - very chic industrial. The place is clean.
All that and it's not even my favorite part.
The hours are really good and there's tons of outlets everywhere. It seems like a popular place to work (and the people seem productive actually) and also a popular place to catch up with friends. How it strikes a good environment for both idk how they pull it off.
My personal favourite part of the shop is the people and services. They're seriously warm and kind. Also I sit here for hours and I see them interact with regulars and it just restores my faith in humanity and community everytime I see it.
Neighborhood gem. The treats are wonderful, and the staff are courteous and friendly.

Waited 20+ minutes for a drip coffee in an empty cafe at 9am. The two people ahead of me left before getting service due to wait time. Staff was more worried about refilling display and wiping down counters - customers weren’t acknowledged. I would maybe understand this, if it was opening or closing time, however, they had been open for a while, the café was empty, there is no excuse for this. Poor service, won’t be back.

This is my favorite place in Guelph!! Im always in for their caramel macchiato, they make it the way I like it! All my family and friends also love coming in for their drinks and sweets. The staff and owners are amazing and I always love having a chat with them! Such an amazing atmosphere, the sofas are the best! If you haven't been there yet, I highly suggest you go!! 100/10

Amazing owner! I went in today and ordered only for the owner not to charge me. He mentioned that his system was down and was unable to take payment. Instead of closing down for the day, he served every single customer free of charge! I’ve never seen such an amazing owner and customer service. Will definitely come back to support such a great business. Thank you again to the owner for such a kind gesture.
