A nice and cozy place, good for hanging out with a bunch of friends or just yourself. Their coffee is good but I am a big fan of their Sweet Almond Croissant. I don’t have a sweet tooth but will definitely go their again and again for that particular croissant. So yum!!

Visited this place twice and food and drinks never disappoint. My favourite is the spinach feta croissant and their latte, a bit pricey but well worth it. Staff is very friendly but the place is always packed but still has a relaxed atmosphere.

Very popular with local university students. Can get quite full as a result with people studying. Atmosphere is very pleasant and good for a chat. Food and drinks are delicious and easily available for takeout.

This place has good coffee but for 2 small coffees it being $20 was a little much imo. All I get is made with 2% milk in my iced coffee & my dad got a hot black. I’m not sure if if we were charged properly from one of the employees, but we were shocked $20 for 2 basic coffee orders. The employee that dealt with as well wasn’t the nicest & told me when I asked for the best matcha as they have a few, “look on our menu board.”🤷🏻♀️

Centurion Coffee has a busy and vibrant ambiance, which I prefer for studying since a more crowded environment helps me stay focused. The majority of the staff I've interacted with have been incredibly friendly and accommodating, which has always made this a great spot for me.
As someone who works in the service industry, I always strive to be positive and respectful toward those in similar roles. However, I’ve had recurring negative experiences with one staff member who consistently gives off an unfriendly demeanor. While I initially thought they might just be having a rough day, their behavior has persisted across multiple visits. What stands out is how differently they treat me—an Asian customer—compared to others. They initiate conversations and make other customers laugh, but when I’m at the counter, their tone is sarcastic, and they seem disengaged. This makes me feel excluded and belittled, which has been deeply disheartening.
This experience has made me question the inclusivity of the space. Although Centurion Coffee has been my favorite study spot, these interactions have left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope this feedback helps foster a more inclusive and positive experience for all customers.

I come here all the time however my most recent experience was appalling. Last night, I walked in with my boyfriend at 11:45 pm just to order a quick drink for the road and we saw they were closing up shop for the night. That was understandable, so we asked if it was still okay to order/come in as the floor was already mopped to which these two female baristas/cashiers said yes.
After placing my order, I had pulled out my cash in exact change to pay however, the cashier waited to watch me count my change before telling me: “Sorry, I just closed my till.”, without saying anything further, and she just continued to stare at me. I realized she was implying that I needed to pay with another form of payment (debit, credit, etc), however she could’ve been more polite about it. Instead of just staring at me, acting like I was doing a disservice to her by paying in cash in exact change, she could’ve at least asked if I was comfortable paying in another way. If I didn’t have my wallet that wouldn’t have been possible. Instead of creating a scene as it was the end of the night, I decided not to say anything. After paying and waiting for my order, the same barista then CONTINUES to count her till, meaning that she never even finished her till in the first place. Ultimately, the tipping point was really when the other barista made my red velvet milkshake wrong. She added a dark chocolate rim, when it typically gets a red rim (as I’ve ordered it multiple times before). This terrible experience makes me feel hesitant about coming back again. The workers need to improve on their customer service even if it is at the end of the night instead of looking annoyed to do their jobs.

Just really good coffee. I've been ordering online a bunch i love it. The few baked goods ive tried are really good too. Some items are priced a little high, but basically on par with competitors, the quality makes up for it. I haven't been in person yet so only giving 4 stars for now.
My recommendations: iced caramel latte macchiato, mocha frappe, any flavor lemonade, chocolate avalanche pastry. You're welcome

Best coffee shop in Guelph for sure.
It’s a great little coffee shop, but it’s impossible to get a seat because the students have taken it over as a library. Too bad because the food and the coffee is really good. But what’s the point of coming in for a coffee if there is never ever a seat?
