It’s worth the drive from Cambridge, especially when you get the craving for Metworst, Hagel and that amazing liquidy gouda in a tub. Even better is buying a delicious bun to eat on the drive home. Always happy and friendly staff tops off the trip.
My family visited and shopped at the Dutch Toko ever since we moved from Nederland to Oakville, ON, Canada back in the early 1950's. When I moved to Guelph in 1973, I was sooo happy to see a Dutch Toko store located here with the same quality, service, courtesy and kindness. My favourite Dutch store for years! They always have what I'm looking for and the staff is so friendly and helpful.Being in the store brings back plenty of memories from childhood as well and I'm grateful to connect with those things so many years laterFresh delicious baking, tasty meat options and extensive cookie and candy selection as well. Plus many lovely gift options for the Dutch and Dutch by association :)
