This is our go to sushi place, we always order takeout from here and are always so happy!The sushi is fresh and delicious!The Hotts and Las Vegas rolls are my favourite, but there are so many yummy ones, I keep adding to the list - Wasabi roll, bean curd roll, green dragon, smoked salmon....my list goes on and on!It is a must try!

It became evident that the restaurant prioritizes maximizing rice portions to cut costs, a practice common in all-you-can-eat establishments, but Guelph Sushi 1122 took it to an extreme.Despite the sushi chef’s evident skills and visually appealing presentation, the overall experience was marred by poor service and a dismissive attitude from the staff. This was especially disappointing considering the lack of other customers in the entirely empty restaurant during my visit. I overheard her conversing with the chef, seemingly expressing dissatisfaction that I had returned.Opting for both All-You-Can-Eat and the regular menu for my partner, every time the waitress brought food, my polite thank-yous were met with silence and dismissive body language. After enduring around 20 instances of this, I gave up. My partner, noticing the odd behavior, questioned the waitress’s attitude, to which I explained that it seemed directed solely at me.When I requested my partner’s food to go, the waitress responded with an audible sigh and an attitude that conveyed frustration. She hastily threw two containers onto my table before briskly walking away, emitting an unmistakable sense of exasperation. Fed up with the disrespectful treatment, I’ve decided never to return to this establishment, despite spending $150 on sushi in a single day. Financially, it’s inconsequential, but I refuse to tolerate discrimination or disrespect.Guelph Sushi 1122 appears to lack customers, evident from the empty surroundings during my visits. Despite my potential to become a regular customer, their unprofessional conduct and discourteous behavior have lost them my business. For a better sushi experience, I recommend W Sushi in Guelph and advise steering clear of Guelph Sushi 1122. They don’t deserve your business.

Loved this place, the location is not too impressive but the food is really good. We ordered cooked and raw food and it was very good. The presentation was nice and the service was cordial. We got there right at the end of lunch so we had to order dinner. A bit pricey for sushi as it is not a fancy place to dine but it was too my liking, better than other sushi places in Guelph. I will certainly go back.

Not good at all, tasteless, mushy texture sushi, items on the menu where not the same as what we orders, see pic. I will never return, $26 per person, I wouldn’t go again if it was $8.00. I asked why the drastic difference in what I ordered vs what I got, I was told “oh that’s just a picture”…..

Don't be fooled by the look of the place!Excellent presentation and food was absolutely delicious.The place does look kind of lacking in terms of decor but other than that its a nice quaint place, excellent for a nice date or somewhere to eat.Prices are pretty reasonable, they have an a la carte menu or an all you can eat menu.Will be coming back again soon!
