My mom and I stopped in for some road food- first impression… it smelled delicious inside! Second, the ladies behind the counter were so kind and helped us place our order of butter chicken and garlic naan, roasted corn and then offered us a sample of shwarma while we waited… the food was so good! We stuffed ourselves and brought home the leftovers. Five Stars!
I have to give credit to where credit is due. Over the weekend, I had Helmand Kabab in Erin cater my little ones bday party. Given it was a mix of kids and adults I ordered the following: Large Chicken Shawarma, Large Beef Shawarma, x2 Large Rice, x2 Large Garden Salads, x20 Beef Skewers and x20 Chicken Tikka Skewers, x15 Naan Breads and of course their amazing green sauce (i don't know what it is called), x3 cheese pizzas and x1 pepperoni pizzas. Excellent customer service, clean establishment and great food. It feels like they genuinely appreciate the business. Great value for the portions you get. Not sure if he was an owner but the gentleman who served us then came to our table to check in on our experience. It was our first time visiting the restaurant and won't be our last. Its a friendly, family atmosphere that feels like you've been invited for dinner in their home. The falafels were fantastic.
