Helmand Kabab House - Town of Erin

We actually LOVE this place however today my husband placed an order for pickup and he was 2 minutes away when he recieved a call saying they sold his order. We were so disappointed and we are now stuck sourcing food last minute elsewhere, they have lost a customer that LOVED going there.

Just received my falafel dinner with no sauce. $15 for rice, tomatoes, cucumber and dry as hell falafel. Total rip off

Friendly people and fresh food. Waited quite a while for beef Tikka with salad and rice but it was pretty good. The sauce is awesome and the Naan is really good too.

Great chicken shwarma pizza and wraps.

And Good value for the amount of food that you get.

Called in and ordered a pizza, was told 20-25 minutes. Showed up after the alloted time and pizza was still not in the oven. Was told that the priority was "pre orders" and not the pizza and would still have to wait. This was not the first time a situation like this has occurred, will not order from this location again.

First time trying this and it was absolutely delicious! Great service. Very fresh and tasty shawarmas. The lady behind the counter made us fresh flat bread for our wraps and oh my goodness it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The chicken and beef shawarmas are a 5 star. Must try. Conveniently located, lots of parking, can’t wait to come back next time. The photos don’t do it justice.

The food was delicious, especially considering the small size of the establishment. I cannot find any fault with the service, and the atmosphere, while perhaps not the most luxurious, was still pleasant. Overall, it is a great little place, and the staff were very attentive and welcoming, even recommending some of their most popular dishes. If you are in the area, I highly recommend paying them a visit.

Usually we eat in at the Guelph location which we absolutely love. Decided to try the Erin location as it is a ten minute closer drive. Only takeout available in Erin unless you want to eat outside. Ordered chicken tikka and a large butter chicken. Arrived home and noticed they gave us a small butter chicken although we ordered and paid for a large butter chicken. Too far of a drive to go back. This location is remote and I’m sure a bit of a drive for most people. The owners should ensure what is ordered and paid for is in the takeout bag especially considering the cost of food these days. The butter chicken flavour was underwhelming compared to the Guelph location. Tasted watered down. Disappointed. On a positive note my husband enjoyed his tikka chicken.
Will return to the Guelph location as food and service is always bang on but not to this location.

They gave me a leftover shawarma that I could only take one bite and throw it away.
If your health matters don’t but the left over foods.
