My partner and I attended last night for Valentine’s dinner. Allison was our server and she was charmingly sweet, attentive, and prompt. The food was served in a timely manner and all the dishes were scrumptious. Allison elevated our dining experience entirely. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Bruno, the owner, was very humble and kind. Ali, our server was sweet, funny, and so awesome. Ali was accommodating to our allergies/food sensitivties and we really enjoyed her recommendations! The strawberry Iced tea was the most delightful drink I've ever had. We loved our appetizers, as well as our meals (Steak, Gnocchi, and Duck) were savory and decadent. The Creme Brule was absolutely delicious 😋 We will definitely be returning as we really appreciate the atmosphere and staff! The view of the skating rink was so charming, too!

Absolutely love La Cucina! It was not my first visit, but it was my husband's. We were celebrating his birthday and every aspect of the evening was incredible. Food was delicious, wine was amazing and the owners were so gracious in their service and we enjoyed a glass of lemoncello in celebration of my husband's bday on the house. Can't wait for the next special occasion in our family so we can return! Thank you!

Easily the best chef in the city. Friendly staff, owners know who their repeat customers are. Food is fantastic. Great rooftop patio in warm weather. Highly recommended.

Super cute and intimate space. Wish the lights were a bit dimmer but love that it’s smaller and you can see the kitchen. I had the lamb stew. To DIE for!!!! So much flavour. Lamb so tender! Get that bread to lap up the sauce and clean your plate

Our first visit to this restaurant and we had no expectations. Food was delicious- my lamb stew was flavourful and hot and perfectly cooked. My husband enjoyed his pasta dish with shrimp and lobster and our friends had the duck, which he loved, and the special, a seared tuna steak which was almost like a double portion. All dishes were seasoned well and came to us right from the open kitchen. Desserts were the blueberry lemon cheesecake (which was subbed with strawberries that night, but still fabulous) and a very light and fluffy crème brûlée. The only drawback was that my cappuccino, which I had ordered extra hot was lukewarm. Service was pleasant and attentive, but not over the top. Worth the trip to Guelph!
walked in and our host was so hostile. We came after dinner for a half price bottle of wine and the man greeting us told us “we are a restaurant, we don’t really do just drinks”. We’ve been multiple times for their wine special and have had a great time but this was very off putting.

He made suggestions, comments and cracked a couple of jokes but didn’t hover or annoy us. The food was delicious, and we didn’t wait too long. We’ve ordered from here on delivery, but decided to try it in person. It was a great experience.

Our dining experience was amazing from start to finish. The location, the staff, the food and the ambiance were perfect! The food was definitely the star of the show, each dish was perfectly prepared and presented. The calamari appetizer was so good I wanted to lick my plate, and the polenta appetizer (a daily special) with grilled peaches was also a winner. The pork roulade was an excellent choice, not to mention the delicious house made pasta! We can't wait to return to this amazing restaurant! Thanks to the entire team for an amazing evening, keep doing what you do and knocking it out of the park.
