Manhattans Bistro & Music Club

Just had an exceptional evening at Manhattans celebrating our Daughters’ birthdays with the Grandparents. Our server, Megan, made the night absolutely magical. The live music was very enjoyable and the atmosphere is perfection. Every time we leave we ask ourselves why we ever go anywhere else and tonight was no exception. Whether for an intimate dinner for two or a full family affair, Manhattans is very special ! Oh… I should add that every meal was sensational!

Great food, specifically the arancini and our mains (the fettuccine alla vodka and braised beef cheek cavatelli). Our server was very attentive, though the wait for food seemed a bit long. Good atmosphere with the music playing (lounge music). Portions were enough that we left feeling full.

Mine and my wife’s favourite date night spot. Family run and we have come here frequently for over 4 years!

We had a wonderful evening celebrating our birthdays tonight. The food, the drinks, our server (Allison) were amazing and the owner was so friendly. It was our first but definitely not our last visit.

Wonderful food and amazing live jazz music!

A family owned gem for any jazz lover. This quaint and cozy environment boasts family and great music. From the minute you walk in the door you are greeted with sincere and exceptional service, that doesn't stop until the moment you walk out the door. The owners and every single staff member are welcoming, friendly and efficient. The food and drinks may just be unbeatable. Try the vegetarian pasta, wow!

This place is so great that the selection of regulars are so friendly and loving that hugs are seen all over this place.

Being our first visit my partner and I couldn't stop saying how much the staff seemed like family, and by the end the night we met 3 generations and each one of them showed special characteristics!

Now let's talk entertainment... If you're a lover of music, you've now found your spot in the world. The talent housed here is remarkable and you won't just get music, you will find entertainment above and beyond.

Amazing vibes

This is where I took my wife for our first date eight years ago. Tonight, my wife brought me here for my 50th birthday. This is our place and we always have a great time!

We had high hopes for Manhattan’s, especially with the promise of live music and a cozy atmosphere. We arrived early for our 7:45 reservation and were told our table wasn’t ready — totally understandable on a busy Friday night. We were happy to sit at the bar, enjoy the music, and order a drink while we waited.

Eventually, we were seated well after our reservation time, which again, we were fine with. But unfortunately, things went downhill from there. We waited quite a while before even getting water, and when it did arrive, it was in small glasses that barely got refilled the entire evening. We ordered two very simple starters — Caesar salad and bruschetta — along with three mains: lamb, pasta, and pizza.

The service completely dropped off after we ordered. No one checked on us, our water glasses remained empty, and there were no offers for more drinks. We found ourselves constantly checking the time and wondering what was going on. By 9:30 — nearly two hours after our reservation — our mains finally arrived, and only when we asked, we learned the appetizers had been clearly forgotten. They eventually brought them out, comped, but at that point, it just felt like too little, too late.

To top it off, the pasta dish was laughably small — maybe four bites, despite the price. While the food itself was good, the service (or lack thereof) really soured the experience. Disappointing overall.

A fabulous evening celebrating a couple of birthdays. Zac took excellent care of us, with attention to details. Darren was very accommodating. He and Maria both popped around to welcome us. Music was pleasant.

We used to come on and off back 3 yrs. ago. The food was disappointing this evening for the 1st time compared to all the other times. We had the Lamb Shank and Atlantic Cod. The food was cooked well but lacked a lot of flavour.
The server took a while to serve us as they had his serving too many tables.
The lighting was too dark for our liking.
It would be nice if there was more selection of food and dessert.
The live jazz was always good and entertaining.

We may come back again!

We celebrated a friend’s Birthday tonight had a lovely time. Cocktails, pizzas all delicious Thanks to Zack for taking such good care of us. The jazz band perfect.
