Royal Electric Bar & Public Eatery

Royal Electric shares a pizzeria with Jimmy Jazz next door. On Mondays pizza is usually half price. We were there on Monday specifically for pizza. Our server lied to us about pizzas not being available - so we had burgers. On the way out, we saw that not only did Jimmy Jazz have pizzas, but they were selling them for half price. I don’t know why the server at Royal Electric lied to us, maybe they just didn’t want to serve half-price pizzas. But in any event, we won’t be going back.

We came in for a quick bite for lunch and ended up ordering pizza for everyone. The Fun Guy was great and my son loved the cheese pizza!

Carson is really well versed in understanding beer and scotch with respect to the manufacturing process as well as the taste profile. I have tasted the best beers and scotch under his hand. The beers, scotch and meal he suggested was top notch. The level of knowledge and expertise in unmatched to any bartender I've interacted with.
Will definitely revisit.

Stopped in Guelph on our way to Elora and Stratford for the weekend. Stopped downtown and wandered into Royal Electric and sat on the patio. My wife went inside and came back and said you won't believe how amazing the place was inside...I went inside...and went back in time to 1993... This was the Trasheteria ! Oh and the food was amazing... I had the Nashville Chicken sandwich and she had the halloumi burger. The nostalgia and the fantastic food was almost too much. What a great place! Check it out.

Food took a lifetime to arrive...and the place was empty. Food was good but over 45 mins was extreme. 2 salads pizza, perogies and tuna dish. The sangria was delish.

Had a great dinner here. The fish sandwich was oh so good! The side salad was also excellent. Service was friendly. My mocktail was also very good! I would definitely eat here again. The background music was enjoyable and at a good level. I encourage you to try out this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.

Cool spot for brunch. Had some drinks specials and daily specials. Good local brewery on tap. Glad to discover it, parking on street is hard but it you are lucky then maybe close enough

Great outdoor patio for breakfast/ lunch

Food was ok, server tried her best. Kitchen brutally slow for what my son and I ordered.
Cool spot with patios, just don't be in any kind of hurry as you'll be later getting there🤦

I visited this restaurant on the day of the Guelph Exotic Car Show, hoping for a relaxed meal. The staff were friendly and polite, but unfortunately the service was far too slow. Even though the restaurant and patio were only half full, we were told there would be at least an hour wait for food. Staff were repeatedly warning customers about the delay, which made it clear they were unprepared for the crowd drawn by the nearby event at City Hall. I decided to just order drinks instead, but even those took about 20 minutes to arrive. It was disappointing that the kitchen and front-of-house team had not planned ahead for what was clearly a busy day in the neighborhood.

I love going to this place especially for the deal on sundays for oysters and a caesar drink. But you guys only made it available until 2pm🥺 please consider making it all day b/c i love that deal but i often work until 4 on sundays. No worries if you dont but its a really great deal

Good food, good service...but bad that leaf's lost.

I have to update my review. I've just been to RE, ordered two burgers and mac and cheese. Very nice waiter but food took 45 minutes to arrive and ran me over $100 after tip. The burgers are smaller than they used to be and not as good in my opinion.
