this establishment has made me feel uncomfortable since I have visited and the service is not good. I was denied service because I was not willing to tip it until I have received my drinks. I had 1 drink, and was denied service because of the tip.

This place is horrible. Bouncer made my friend pay double because she was “too drunk” when she didn’t have a SIP of alcohol at that point 💀 then to my same friend they accused her of hitting her vape in the bar but she never did she was just holding it. No warning, she took it from her hands and THREW IT AWAY. But were we told it got thrown away? Nope! All the staff told us that she will get it back at the end of the night. Didn’t happen! The mean manager came out with the nastiest attitude ever for no reason telling us that she threw it out and we aren’t getting it back. She was such a nasty woman I have NEVER been spoken to like that, it was ridiculous. She started telling US that it’s a huge fine for vaping in the bar. YOU WANNA TALK ABOUT HUGE FINES?? The bartenders be drinking on the job 🤣🤣 bunch of goofs don’t spend money here.

If I could rate this place a negative I would. I’ve gone to ranch for 2 years now and last night was the worsy I’ve seen. I aswell work at a nightclub and understand bouncers need to do their job but last night I went out with a group of girlfriends & one of the bouncers kicked 2 of our girls out for going near a door they weren’t supposed to (smokers pit). They then proceeded to kick the girls out and slammed the door on them and didn’t even let them grab their coats or wait inside for one of us to grab their coats. One of the girls ended up getting so cold her hands swelled up triple the size. I then proceeded to talk to the manager Al and all he could do for me was give me his card and told me to call him. These bouncers abuse their power.

I had an absolutely awful experience at The Ranch in Guelph. The security staff are aggressive, unprofessional, and seem more interested in abusing their authority than maintaining a safe environment. My sober fiancée tried to de-escalate a fight on the dance floor, and instead of handling the situation properly, security dog-piled him, threw him off a set of five stairs, and left him with scabs and bruises. There was no justification for this level of force, and it was completely uncalled for.
If you’re looking for a fun, safe night out, avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other bars in Guelph where you won’t be mistreated by power-hungry staff.
Alongside 15-20 people, waited over an hour and a half for coats at the end of the night, killed the vibe.

I have never seen security abuse their authority the way I did December 6th 2024. I watched multiple security continuously beat and choke a gentleman and use excessive force on a citizen I truly hope these people lose their jobs and people should use caution when going here for people are suppose to make you feel secure when you go out they absolutely terrified me while they actually escalated a situation to the point I was concerned for this persons life I won’t be returning and will be advising family and friends to avoid this please in the future

If you don’t want your unopened beers to get dumped by the security guard, chug them in line. Cheapest price for a beer not even poured to the top in a small plastic cup is $5.30 so prepare to spend some money.
Drove from an hour away and parking was full, then there was a huge lineup outside so good luck with that. Anyway there’s a dance floor, stage, booths to sit at, a $2 bull ride, and live music so that’s nice
