I organized a work Christmas party/private event at Berkeley North last week. We rented out the space for our party and it was perfect. Upon my initial inquiry, Suzi was very pleasant, responsive and accommodating (adjusting for our budget, preferences, etc.) The food was incredible and the service and staff were absolutely wonderful. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much

Super cute restaurant with really great food. The mushroom dumplings are so good! The small plates are just that, pretty small portions, but great for sharing with a smaller group. Also, one of the better espresso martinis I’ve had in the city!

We (12 pax) were there on July 22, 2025 and service was terrible. Waited around 2 hours to be served our food, and the place was not even full! The mushroom dumplings were meh- texture was flat- too mushy? The grain salad according to my peers tasted like it was bought from Costco. They got my beer wrong. The cheesecake for dessert took 30 minutes to be served. They did not apologize for the very slow service, but gave us free shots.

Food was terrible. Chicken bites were burnt and not sure there was any chicken in them seemed like a clump of burnt breadcrumbs. Inedible. Server brought this meal out late as all other dishes had been delivered. Hate that! Server saw I didn’t eat dinner and didn’t ask me how my dinner was. When in a group I wasn’t about to complain but feel it was his place to enquire. So all in all don’t suggest this place.

I first tried this restaurant last week. Fantastic food, excellent wine and great service.
9/10. Amazing.
So much so that I HAD to go back again. So I did. Tonight.
And somehow, the service was basic, the food was undercooked (dumplings) and tougher (steak). The wine I wanted was no longer available. Overall, a disappointing 6\10. Mediocre.
And so, I will go once more, as a tiebreaker.
Consistent food quality is paramount in a restaurant. Hopefully, I’ve just caught them on an off night.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm ambiance and attentive staff. The service was both friendly and efficient, making us feel truly welcomed and special . Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented — clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. The chef’s attention to detail is remarkable, and the portion sizes were perfect.

Overall, this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

Lovely restaurant with a phenomenal menu. I had the falafel Grain salad and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten!

Came as a last minute lunch since we were disappointed to find out Persona across the street was only brunch on weekends. We were one of two tables and sadly the service was painfully slow. The lunch menu is small which leaves much to be desired. The appetizers were okay, for the most part everyone had the fried chicken sandwich, which was as expected, nothing special. The poke tuna bowl unfortunately felt like it was frozen tuna and was disappointing. Could be a really solid spot if some changes are made.

We visited here for our anniversary and this place has beautiful aesthetics. The food is amazing as always, especially the dumplings and eggplant. We had the passionfruit martini and it was delicious. Recommended!

I used to really like this place but I would not go back. Went for a date night and had the tasting menu - really poor service was the most notable part of our experience. It was a Friday night and not busy, but service seemed rushed and unprofessional. I felt like it was training day at Swiss Chalet. Table not ready when we got there so we had to watch them spray it down and set it, then the hostess just kind of... pointed for us to go to it across the room. Sat for what seemed like a while before our waiter came to give us water and the first words out of his mouth were "do you know what you want?". The vibe continued like this for the rest of the night. Everything felt rushed and chaotic (reaching right across me to clear plates, not having cutlery when dishes were delivered, checking how things were but literally turning away as he asked, without waiting for the answer, etc). Food was fine (some good, some pretty mid) and the atmosphere is ok. Seems like they are just coasting on their bib gourmand listing but there are so many better restaurants within a 10 minute walk, there's just no need to go here anymore.

Wonderful food and service! Would highly recommend. My daughter had Rainbow Trout and I had the Mushroom Gnocchi. Both were excellent
