Great experience overall at Cima! Atmosphere was amazing, as well as the food! I recommend the Gnocchi al Tartufo, one of the best pastas Iâve had. Highly recommend to anyone in the Hamilton area looking for great Italian food.
The restaurant offers a refined atmosphere and attentive service, with clear attention to authenticity. The Fungi pizza with prosciutto carried an appealing wood-fired aroma, yet the overall flavor balance was not entirely pleasant. The char reached a level where the smoky-burnt notes dominated the palate, and the drizzle of truffle-infused oil âthough luxurious in conceptâ further amplified the bitterness instead of enhancing the natural flavors. As a result, the delicate earthiness of the mushrooms and the subtle sweetness typical of a well-fermented Neapolitan dough were lost beneath the intensity of the smoke and truffle oil.
The tiramisu, on the other hand, was a highlight âa refined reinterpretation that felt light, aromatic, and beautifully balanced, with a touch of amaretto and toasted hazelnuts adding texture and contrast. Unfortunately, a couple of hazelnuts tasted rancid, slightly disrupting an otherwise excellent dessert.
Overall, the experience reveals genuine craftsmanship and creativity, though better control of flavor balance and finishing touches could elevate it from good to truly exceptional

The fried calamari has really declined in quality. I found the calamari tough. It was not tender and pleasant to chew. There used to be a green sauce along with the red sauce that had texture but its pretty much non existent now. I would not recommend ordering the calamari.

We made an order through Uber eats, the pasta came cold and overcooked, the salad came without any dressing and we didnât receive any fork or knife to eat with after we specifically asked. We just moved in to a new apartment and had to eat pasta with our hands. Whenever we called to the restaurant they just hung up on us and said âthere is nothing I can doâ. Honestly just bad experience overall wouldnât be ordering from them again

On the pricier side but I had a great experience. The aperol spritz was perfect, and they have the option to build your own charcuterie board. I havenât visited for dinner yet but I plan to!

Millie, THANK YOU, YOU ROCK! My girlfriend and I had a group of friends have supper at Cima and it was nothing short of incredible. The food was delicious, but in a packed restaurant, our waitress Millie made us feel like the only ones there. Each table she hosted, everyone had a smile! Again, the food was incredible, and the employees were incredible! MILLIE DESERVES A RAISE!

The food was absolutely delicious here! The Cascarecce alla Gigi was amazing - they have such a good rosé sauce. The Olive Branch cocktail was also great. The service was friendly. They also give a free birthday donut which is SO GOOD!
