My friend and I visited for my Bday dinner and it was absolutely fantastic. 10/10 service and the most delicious meal and appetizer. Even the butter for the table bread was amazing!!! It was also fun to see our old bar renovated into such a nice spot

We went here for a Birthday celebration, which the girl on the desk asked us about as we entered.Having been shown to our table we were brought water then nothing for some time. The server didn't offer us a pre dinner drink and finally when he came back went straight into the specials and to take our order.Service through the night was very, very slow but there were lots of staff moving around.The food was very good but the prices were ridiculously expensive, even as a treat for a Birthday.The atmosphere and ambience were pleasant but with the poor service and their prices means we won't be going back as there are many nice, similar restaurants in that area that are better value for money with exceptional customer service.

Ill start with the positive and move to the negative. The food and service were amazing! The steaks were perfectly cooked and the sides were delicious. The service from Shana was excellent however the restaurant was very quiet so there wasn't much atmosphere. One thing that did annoy me and this was the next day is that the wine mark up was $70 on a bottle which I think is outrageous. I understand restaurants need to add a markup but when I saw the $90 bottle of wine I purchased at the LCBO for $19,95 I was shocked. I did feel like I'd been ripped off. If I go again I won't be having any wine.

Got the wagyu burger, strip-loin steak, and the crab cakes. The crab cakes were good but slightlytoo salty, and the wagyu burger was great. The steak however was mediocre. Not worth the price point in my opinion for an average experience.

Had a great night at Conversate for Valentine's Day. Everything was cooked to perfection. The cocktails were very good. Service was great too, our server was very nice. Looking forward to going back when they have their normal full menu.
