Best coffee in Hamilton
Durand Coffe has really high quality products like this medium roast coffee, I love it! The bohemian and cozy atmosphere in the shop is also very nice. One of the best coffee shops in Hamilton!

Lovely spot. Great atmosphere, lovely coffee & tea, & incredibly diverse & well-made pastries. Big shoutout to Juan & Candice for taking such good care of my friend and I, despite having to deal with a brunch rush. They also have some lovely hip-hop records in the playlist here; I heard Slum Village when I walked in, and Common when I walked out. Definitely gonna be a regular here.
I can't remember the exact names, but I can absolutely recommend the goat cheese & caramelized onion (?) pastry (best dish on the menu in my opinion), the raspberry danish, and the chocolate & vanilla custard chocolatine.

One of the best coffee shops in the city. Amazing hot and cold morning drinks and a really cute vibe. The patio is lovely in the warm months!

First place I tried a Cortado (with oat milk), now it’s my go-to drink.

Durand is charming. Fantastic coffee.
I need to start by saying that I really love this place. I've been coming here for I guess a decade, and will be coming back, despite the bad experience I had today.
Usually, I go for drip or americano, but today I thought I'd try a pour-over. I understand that this takes time to prepare. I also understand that the extraction time is 3 minutes for a light roast, and that the dripper ought not to run out of water to keep optimal temperature.
And so the pouring began. And then the dripper ran out. And then 6 people got their espresso orders. And then they remembered my now sad pour-over. Until they forgot again.
I stood around for no less than 15 minutes while this went on, and by the time I finally got my coffee, it was tepid. For $6.
I hope this feedback helps them change their operation, so that no one else is left getting disappointed by a place they love.

Very lovely cafe located at the corner of a charming neighborhood! I tried the flat white and almond croissant- both were delicious. The menu has lots of options and there were a variety of baked goods. There is quite a bit of seating with both a mix of tables and stools by the window. It has the perfect ambience for a cloudy or rainy day.

I have to say, I had the best muffin I’ve ever had here. I got the last carrot muffin and it’s amazing! Definitely will visit again and try more amazing baked goods.
