Any time I'm in Hamilton I make sure I'm getting chicken curry/or goat my rice and peas to go when I get home after a long day, I'm chowing down on my Trinny food. It's the best. I've been coming here for years, I always make sure I get one last roti before they close for the season. If you're looking for that home cooked wet Indian meal this is where you come guaranteed.
A few weeks ago I got a Jerk Chicken dinner and a Curry Chicken Roti and both were great! The Jerk was cooked perfectly and nice and spicy, just as I asked... The Roti was also amazing, I asked for no spice so I could share with my mom and she loved it too! I saw a review that the curry was too runny - that's not at all how mine was, you could cut it with a knife and it still stayed together.
I have no problem recommending Famous Recipe to anyone.

Great home cooked Trinidadian cuisine.,Friendly prompt service at a very good price. Great Roti. Amazing Doubles. Great BbQ Chicken with rice and Callaloo and fabulous home made Sorrel. At Christmas don’t miss the homemade Ginger Beer and Real Caribbean Black Cake. Too varied Menu. For all fans of good West Indian Food. Don’t miss this place on King Street West right across the street from Jackson Square
