I always have a great experience at Indian Hut Waterdown. One of my favorite places to go out to eat in the city. The staff is very friendly with great recommendations (love the eggplant!!! Thanks for suggesting it!) and the food is consistent and delicious. I have eaten here often and have loved the experience every single time! If you live in the area and love Indian cuisine or are looking to experience it for the first time, give them a visit!

Let me start with, I LOVE Indian food. I am not from the area (live in BC) and was housesitting for family in Kilbride. Googled best Indian in Waterdown and this came up. I have to say, I was very disappointed in the food taste and quality. Butter chicken was no better than the canned stuff. (Tandoori) chicken tikka was very disappointing too. I have tasted so much better. Naan was just ok. Recall I ordered a gobi too - not impressed with that either. I guess I’m just spoiled with my local Indian where I live in BC.

I CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK! (I'm so full right now because it was so darn good, but I'd walk there for more, if I could!) We tried the dinner for 2...definitely enough for two people with leftovers. We were able to choose a meat (we chose butter shrimp), a veg entree (we chose channa masala), 2 samosa, rice and 2 naan breads. We also added a mango lassi and galub jamun. Everything was incredible. Seriously. Authentic East Indian flavor, large portions for the price and super great staff. We ordered takeout, it didnt take long at all. The front end staff (mid 20's lady) was very helpful, kind and full of giggles. From the first encounter, to the end result of all of us at the table saying how delicious it was...The Indian Hut has leveled up our take out experience! Bravo, Indian Hut... we're impressed! P.s...order the mango lassi, you won't regret this life decision 😉

Ordered through Uber Eats the yesterday — food was really good, especially the Dal Makhani (honestly, one of the best I’ve had). But the service wasn’t great… no greeting when i came or left, and the packaging was way too full, which ended up making a mess in the car. Great taste, just wish the service and packing were better.

biryani was tomato rice with raw parsely everwyehre and tough shrimp. fpr $20, at least they gave a lot of rice... few pieces of shrimp and they assume their raw parsley rice is worth $20. dal makhani had more kidney beans in it than lentils.. wth are these fake reviews. at least they fill the container up, but its def not one of the greats. That's for sure. Also extremely oily.

I am sooo happy with the lovely service of Karina and her partners in the restaurant, you feel like you are at home enjoying a delicious food and the best salad I have eaten in all Ontario, don’t lost the opportunity to eat in this hidden jewel..!!!
