Mexican Kitchen was an absolute highlight of my visit to the farmers market. The quesa birria tacos with the consommé were incredible—rich, flavourful, and perfectly prepared. Every bite reflected care and authenticity.
What really set this place apart was the owner’s kindness and hospitality. She took the time to share the history of the location, explaining that this is the original Mexican restaurant at the market and a silver medal winner in a taco competition. That pride and legacy truly show in the quality of the food being served today.
Delicious food, welcoming service, and a strong sense of history—this spot is well deserving of its reputation. I’ll definitely be back.

Paola is truly a diamond among the rough when it comes to small business owners in this city.
Her recipes are inherited directly from her mother, and her journey to cooking has been a long one at that.
The food though… if it’s your first time or your 20th time than you have to order the Quesa Burria.
Sure. You may have had this dish elsewhere in the city but have you had it from here? It’s a must.
The cliche saying “it’s made with love” is no cliche at this location. You can feel the history and passion that seeps from this business.

Very nice place. Clean, great customer service and delicious food. I came with my husband (he's from mexico) and we tried the quesabirria and Cochinita Pibil Tacos, the taste brought him back to his hometown haha 😄 The Horchata and Fresa waters were so refreshing and natural tasting, no artificial flavors as we were told. Food, drinks, ambience and service 10/10, would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Just tried this place inside Hamilton's Farmers Market after walking by it a couple of times. Tastes fresh, and lots of condiments to compliment the meals. Their tamales and tacos were very satisfying and nostalgic!
Im definitely coming back to have lunch during shopping.
