Egg plant fish and chips super oily, have to use 4 large paper napkins to soak up the oil and it was still oily. Matcha green tea donut was day old and they sold us at full price. Jackfruit BBQ burger very good but tiny. Sweet potato fries and regular fries very good.
Absolutely loved the falafel bowl! The dill aioli sauce, pickles, and roasted veggies were delicious, and everything paired together so well. I recently started a vegan diet, and I’m thrilled to have found the perfect spot to dine. I’ll definitely be a regular here!

Honestly what a wonderful place! Love the aesthetic and decoration- felt very comfortable and cozy. The food was fantastic- the only , and I mean ONLY thing I would say is the bun for the burger was very dry and crusty … virtually impossible not to leave a messs after eating it. the dill fries were to die for! Wonderful staff and did not take long for my smoothie, and meal to show. Will definately go again and try out some other yummy treats and eats ❤️

The service from our server was outstanding—she was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. However, our experience was marred by the chef's dismissive attitude.
We ordered the hummus and falafel bowl, which we've enjoyed in the past. Unfortunately, this time it was overly salty to the point that my mom couldn't finish her meal. I tried to mix in other items to balance the flavor, but it was still too much.
At the end of our meal, our server asked why we hadn’t finished our dishes nor mentioned the issue, and we explained the dish was too salty. She kindly took our feedback to the chef, but he simply shrugged it off, saying, "for me, it's fine." This lack of responsiveness to customer feedback was disappointing.
Overall, while the service was commendable, the kitchen's unwillingness to consider customer input was a letdown. I hope they can address this, as I'd love to return for the excellent service and food I know they can provide.

Everything was very good. Probably one of the best vegan places I have been to and just love the fact that it's fully gluten free. Wish there are more restaurants like this.
The flavour was really good. The donuts are better than wheat flour donuts in my opinion. They have the perfect level of sweetness and the texture is so good.
I also love that the protein ingredients are made in house instead of serving the not so healthy "beyond" or "impossible" brand fake meats.

The restaurant is nice, but that's unfortunately about the only positive thing I could write. The food was terrible. Fries were the only thing good. Way too much money for that poorly of tasting food. The service was mediocre, took quite awhile to be served and receive food even though the place was basically empty.
Definitely will not return.

I am hoping this review will help those with wheat sensitivities/allergies. Planted uses wheat starch in a lot of its savoury baked goods. They don't advertise it and not all of their staff members know. They will tell you what most people think: GF foods don't contain wheat. I've had to insist more than once that they check what kind of flour was used. Beware folks.
Dietary restrictions: Planted is celiac-safe but not safe for those with wheat allergies.

This restaurant planted was awesome! We were happy to find it as we are from Windsor Ontario! I highly recommend the lentil patty with the portobello mushroom and Swiss cheeseburger with the sweet potato fries. The coffee was also excellent! The waiter was also super friendly!

I craved healthy food so I visited this vegan place for the first time. My choice was wrong for healthy food, I guess, but my Eggplant 'Fish' and chips was not it.
The fries were mediocre.
The eggplant fish had too much dough and tasteless undercooked eggplant. I left half food on my plate, and couldn't even finish fries.
Their side soup was not bad.

Great vegan place in Hamilton! Pancakes were excellent, and the "salmon (carrots really) bagel" was also nice! Also loved the cinnamon roll coffee, perfect for fall. Service was good, though it took a bit of time even though the place was not super busy but we didn’t mind. Also, great playlist!

The place is really nice and the playsit slay !
For the food, the bun of the burger is definitely a bit on the thicket side… and lack of some seasoning. However, the pancakes were the best I had in a really long time !
Would recommend to brunch there if you’re more on the sweet side for the morning :)
