I feel like the new owner of this establishment needs to tone his wife down. The bartenders are amazing. The regulars are hilarious. Between the owner and his wife, I wouldn't come back because of these two. The owner literally sticks his nose up at customers . His wife is lazy/incompetent. The bartenders wife/cover-up, said I was cut off after three drinks. My phone was on 3%. She wouldn't let me charge my phone or order me a car..She literally turned her back on me (after direct eye contact) and walked away. I don't feel safe coming here due to this woman's ignorance.

Best live music venue in Ancaster! Food is pub food but it’s reliable and the staff are lovely. Apparently they are changing their name/menu etc to become a bbq spot (yay) but will continue to host live music.

Really darn good burgers, really nice atmosphere, live music. Stumbled upon the place and am very pleasantly surprised and full. Come on over for good company, great service and awesome food. Will be back. :)

Afternoon on a Saturday and the restaurant was empty,, the band would not adjust volume!, so load we could not hear each others conversation across the table.. we were not there be be blasted by sound. I would check about that before going again. The fish / chips were a bit too greasy. The burger was good but patty small in size ( that’s comparing to other pub grub) We were not asked if we wanted desert or coffe/tea?. But given the bill promptly after dishes taken.

I don't know what happened with this order, but i was not impressed. I was excited to try the Bourbon BBQ meatloaf, but unfortunately it was mediocre. We also ordered the Big Mac pizza based on a previous order, and I'm quite certain it wasn't what I got this time (taste wasn't the same at all). Disappointed, but I guess I'll stick to the burgers. Also, the service and atmosphere rating is solely based on the fact that it was a pick up order.
I have been going to pub fiction to see my favorite bands for years. My friends and I have heard that the bar has new management and owners of the bar. We have all been worried about what was going to be changed. I ordered my regular drink white sangria. I could not believe the size of my drink. My brink used to be double the size that I had last night. I also had the apple crumble that I always had. This to was alot smaller then I have had. The pricing also increased. I am very disappointed in the changes that I had on December 6th while dancing to the Mcflys. This is only one of the bands that I follow. Pub fiction has always been fun however the changes that are being made are terrible. I hope that the owners that are changing pub fiction reconsider the changes.

What a welcoming place!! Smiling faces when ya walk in. Food is delicious wings are fantastic! Great price points with great deals! Server “ Shelynda” is very friendly and attentive. Great lunch spot! The smiles on the patrons faces says a lot. I will for sure be back!!
