We stopped here for lunch, I had the perch tacos and they were amazing. My husband had the burger special, I had a bite...it was really good too. Our pints of beer were cold and delicious 😋

Pub Fiction is just so consistently good. Always a great atmosphere with live entertainment. The service and food are fantastic also with a great taps selection. Highly recommended!

I only gave them a 4 star on atmosphere because of the loud band..

Was visiting with relatives and went for NYE. Food was good. Band was a fun flashback to the 80s with some mad guitar skills. Absolutely terrible service. Waitress was all attitude, not remotely helpful, missed a bunch of our drink orders repeatedly. Tables next to us didn't seem to get any better service. Coup de grâce was the waitress putting her fingers on the inside of the champagne glasses as she put them down. Your fingers should be no where near the rim, and certainly not inside the glass! Being NYE we didn't expect fast service, but the attitude, repeated missed drinks, and the Coup de grâce was too much. My relatives don't plan on returning.

Our band played there. Service staff were great with the band. It was quite a busy eve. And the wait staff were quick and attentive to all who came out to see us play.
We had a great time performing there again. We always do!

Empty restaurant extraordinarily slow service. And average food. Ordered burger with fries and gravy. The gravy came after I had completely eaten the burger and the fries were already cold. Then the gravy arrived. Ordered garlic bread arrived burnt, but they did replace in fairness. One person was given her meal a good 15 minutes before everyone else was given theirs.

This local pub in Ancaster, Ontario, is a fantastic spot for a casual night out! The food options were great, and the service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. Tons of TVs create the perfect setup for game day, and the clean, welcoming atmosphere made it even better. With plenty of parking and a convenient location on the outskirts of town, it's super easy to get to. Definitely a go-to spot for anyone nearby looking for a fun, relaxed pub experience. Highly recommend!

It took a hour and a half to get dinner. The fish was over deep fried dark brown. Just a terrible experience for dinner. Based on the crowd at the bar, they seem best suited to cater to the over fifty drinking crew versus a nice pub dinner.
