My husband and I went in for a coffee and had a wonderful experience. Their new space is absolutely delightful. The ambiance, staff and coffee and lemon/cranberry scone we purchased were top quality.
The Canon is an absolute gem! This was actually the very first café I visited in Hamilton, and it was recommended to me as the best spot in the area — I’m so glad I came. The barista is incredibly friendly and professional, and the coffee is a masterpiece: rich, aromatic, easily one of the best I’ve had in Ontario. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with every detail creating comfort and a great vibe. Service is top-notch and you can really feel the care for customers....
I have visited here several times recently, always solo. Today the service was really great. I usually get a sandwich to go. After I ordered today I sat down to wait, expecting my order to be called out when ready, as it had many times before. Instead, a lovely person walked my sandwich over to me where I was sitting and asked if I would like a bag. A small but thoughtful way to serve a guest, even if just someone getting take away. Thank you! Also, I tried a brewed coffee today...
