Went here for breakfast today with a friend of mine. I got an item from the special menu which was eggs benedict with turkey, sausage and avocado on Brie , and as you can see from the picture, it was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast and I had my tea. The water was hot,

My friend got an omelette and he thoroughly enjoyed his and the servers came by all the time to fill up the coffee for my friend. He never had an empty cup, not even once

Very friendly staff. Really nice restaurant. Very warm. You could actually take your coat off and sit very comfortably. Lighting was really nice. Seating was good, not too busy

Love this place!! Coffee is always amazing!! Breakfast is so good and large portions! Service is always wonderful, the only thing that would make it even better would be a bit of an upgrade.

Don't waste your money or time on this place!
Worst food I have ever tried!
How can you possibly even screw up scrambled eggs? By having eggshells in them! Sausage was sour and smelled like plastic.
Even the toast was burnt and inedible!
Go to Sammy's or Pur and Simple!!

Some of the pancakes we ordered were completely raw. Other people's orders were missing food. Our waitress was great but the food was underwhelming to say the least.

Always love the Egg & I. It’s a Hamilton standard that never disappoints. Portion sizes are always plenty to fill your belly. Good food, good staff, good atmosphere.

The restaurant is busy.

The service staff are very polite, smiling, and are good with suggestions for people.

During peak hours they should have an extra person just clearing off tables and refilling drinks.

The food wasn't hot and the potatoes were slightly undercooked.

Restaurant was closed. We thought it was open. Didn't go in

A day initiated with eggs and homefries is a wise decision. Coffee is also essential. The crab cakes are outstanding, especially when cooked well done. The cost is moderate. This eatery is a concealed treasure in Ancaster. A compulsory visit for breakfast aficionados! 🐣

We’ve been here before and enjoyed the experience but today we were a little disappointed. The order was cold when it arrived and the beef au jus had no jus. The kitchen didn’t have any but still had it on the menu. The server was friendly and comped our coffees for the missing jus etc. The fries were tasty and the prices are reasonable.
