So lovely inside, awesome service and TOTAL YUM. The eggs Benedict were great but what’s up with the side salad? That’s such a good side salad? What kind of magic was in that salad?

My all-time favourite Hamilton restaurant. The food is fantastic and delightfully prepared. Service is friendly and welcoming and my girlfriend and I both love the lively and friendly atmosphere. Plus, the patio is one of our favourite places in summer! We’ve always enjoyed a top-notch experience here and I highly recommend the French! Thank you to the amazing staff who’ve made our dining experience here so special over the years. 🙂🙂

Just an excellent place. Shared oysters, venison tartar, duck confit, and steak frites-Chicago style-all just sooo good. Service was great and the atmosphere is classy but not stuffy or pompous.

Good food. Good service. Upscale casual with comfortable furniture, beautiful bar and dining area. Nice stone accent walls, exposed kitchen. (Still able to have conversations at your table with combatting any additional noise). Great atmosphere for dates, group gatherings, business meetings. Give it a try if you’re looking for something in the area at any time of day. On this visit we had eggs benedict and I subbed in salmon with mine. The salad was actually really delicious. French onion soup was also really well done.

One of my favourite restaurants in downtown Hamilton. Never had a bad experience ever. Amazing lunch spot and fantastic dinner as well. We had an app, some drinks, great entrees and all 3 desserts offered. No complaints and the staff is always friendly and inviting. An absolute absolute must when in downtown. Thank you for always giving us a great experience.

Server was friendly. We ordered the French onion soup to share, but it was a bit on the saltier side.
Ordered a steak and duck breast as entrees and they were perfectly cooked and seasoned to taste.
First time visiting and had a wonderful experience. Good quality foods and a great service. Both server and bartender were great and they hold big pride in their restaurant and food they serve. I had brunch on Saturday morning and it was not too busy. I had turkey sandwich and egg Benedict and both were delicious.

I just had the pleasure of dining at this charming French bistro with 2 of my girlfriends. The food was nothing short of incredible—each dish was expertly prepared, bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with stunning interiors that perfectly complemented the French dining experience.

Everything was going well until a staff member decided they needed to jam open the back fire exit door and have a smoke break. Second hand smoke filled the dining area and ruined a perfectly good evening, we'd already paid and were enjoying some after meal conversation. We left within a couple of minutes and I went back in to let our server know why we left in such a hurry. With the staff unaware of the effect of their smoking in such close proximity to the dinning area I'm not sure I'd go back. Not something I'd want to repeat.
