The French was a delicious dining experience, with attentive service and fresh ingredients, they left nothing to be desired from a nice dinner. The duck break l’orange was absolutely spectacular, with sauces that will blow you away. Make sure to leave room for dessert, because the lemon tart with blueberries was also a show stopper. Great place to go for a celebration.
I saw the winter eat menu and came here. My favorite was the first course, Tete de Cochon Croquette. It was absolutely delicious, thanks to the lady who recommended it. It looked normal on the surface. But once you bite into it, the tender pork knuckle accompanied by mustard, swept through my mouth. The pickled carrots that came with it cut through the greasiness. The French was an awesome spot in downtown Hamilton. The French onion soup was piping hot, and had a crispy/melty cheese topping. The Gnocchi was also creamy and amazing. Would recommend to anyone!
