“My wife and I went to A&W in Val Caron, I noticed the manager/operator was really on top of things, he conversed with the staff in a friendly manner. The order was taken and presented within two minutes. The food was hot and very good, all of the condiments were full and readily available. The tables and working surfaces were clean and in fact the operator asked an assistant to wipe the tables and condiment area. There was a queue of about eight customers and we were served in a very timely fashion. I sat facing the work area and noticed how efficient and concerned the operator was, with dealing with customers and staff. After I ate, I thought it would be a good idea to get his attention and commend him on his establishment, he asked if the food was good and was appreciative of my comments. I think we should tell people, when we have received good service in fast food or retail shops, not just when we complain. The fast food and retail industry can be hard, so a little praise can go a long way.“

“I don't do lunch often there, but last 2 mornings in a row I've gotten the classic breakfast with bacon and eggs. At tims $10 gets you a wrap and coffee+waiting in line, at a&w they serve a whole breakfast for $10 and there's never a line at 7 am“

“One of my other go to spots, when I'm in Sudbury. The wings are great and are always 2 for 1, but the burgers are juicy and what a proper burger should be. Not a fan of the smash burger trend. Had the Toronto Burger, and it one if the best burgers I've ever had.“

“Ice cream and frozen treats are great, awesome ice cream cakes too. Their frozen treats are easily 4.5 stars, however, the hot food is more like a 2.5

The problem I have with their hot food, it's ungodly salty; and I'm a salt-feind. I find the fries and chicken strips difficult to eat because of how salty they are.

The burgers are also unfortunately on the bland-side. Very long waits overall, too, which kills my want to go in.“
