You can only get take out here since covid, and the prices keep going up, there was an increase when I ordered in January 2024 and again today, and not by five cent, we are talking price increase of $.65 - $1.00 on just about everything on the menu, I have been going to this restaurant since the late 1970's and has always been good but it keeps going down hill, this is the last time I will be going back. Havelock Garden Restaurant, established since the 1970s, offers good food with generous portions. While lacking dine-in options and having a dark and outdated interior, the place is clean. Operating limited hours and days, many recommend it, especially when the owner is cooking. A nostalgic staple in the community, it may have seen better days but still offers tasty, traditional Chinese dishes like Moo Goo Gai Pan and Egg Foo Young. Takeout orders, like sesame chicken and pork lo mein noodles, are satisfying with large portions that can feed multiple people. The food is amazing, hot and delicious. Shannon provides great customer service. It is a take out only place, but there are picnic benches across the street. The restaurant is definitely recommended for amazing Chinese food.
