“On Saturday September 23 we picked up a wedding cake for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding. Monika and her husband couldn't be more gracious and accommodating. They are normally closed on weekends but kept the shop open for us to pick up the cake. They packaged it beautifully for our trip to the wedding venue which was located at the top of a steep hill on the Quebec side. They even put rubber matting under the cake to keep it from slipping during transit. The cake itself was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers. Monika included an extra box of flowers for us to add later. The cake was a delicious two tier, chocolate and vanilla. The icing was a light tasting butter cream... only a little bit sweet....perfection! The guests raved about it. We were hoping to take some home with us but it was all gone by the next day. Thank you Monika for everything. Le Petit Pain will be our go-to place when we pass through Hawkesbury.☺“
“Extremely bad service from the employess. I came for steap tea they refused me then i asked for double double they gave me when i checked no sugar inside. I went back inside the store and tell them they took my cup and just brew it again but did not mix the sugar. I highly recommend to the manager he/she should check the cameras and some strictness on the employees so that they can provide the good service. Because they all were kids there and always laughing on customers and give wrong orders. Please manager or owmer should take some serious actions. Thanks“
“I found Lila cakes online to prepare my wedding cake since I am new to the area, I had no recommendations so took a chance with Lila cakes. I do not regret it for 1 second! The cake for my wedding of 75 people (Jan 2024) was perfect! The vendor understood exactly the theme and the taste we were looking for.
