“On Saturday September 23 we picked up a wedding cake for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding. Monika and her husband couldn't be more gracious and accommodating. They are normally closed on weekends but kept the shop open for us to pick up the cake. They packaged it beautifully for our trip to the wedding venue which was located at the top of a steep hill on the Quebec side. They even put rubber matting under the cake to keep it from slipping during transit. The cake itself was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers. Monika included an extra box of flowers for us to add later. The cake was a delicious two tier, chocolate and vanilla. The icing was a light tasting butter cream... only a little bit sweet....perfection! The guests raved about it. We were hoping to take some home with us but it was all gone by the next day. Thank you Monika for everything. Le Petit Pain will be our go-to place when we pass through Hawkesbury.☺“
