I gave this a 1 because for YEARS, I’ve been going to works and getting a sexy burger and they’ve taken it off the menu. I was beyond disappointed. The menu has been cut in half. I don’t get it, it’s a burger place and there are few options now. Sad that I won’t get my fav burger or any burger from there anymore

I am very disappointed with the service at this location. I placed a pickup order in the evening, only to find one item missing when I got home. This forced us to drive back to the restaurant, where the staff replaced the missing item and reheated the other one that had gone cold. While the manager did apologize and provided a discount voucher for a future visit, the experience did not improve from there.
When I brought the food home again, there was yet another mistake. Despite requesting that the salad dressing be served on the side, the salad came soggy and not fresh. This was extremely frustrating, especially as this was not an isolated incident. On my previous dine-in visit, one of the orders was wrong, which caused the entire table to wait for a replacement and left us with cold food.
It seems that since changes in management, both food quality and service have declined significantly. Burgers and portion sizes are noticeably smaller, and the staff service has become careless. This location clearly needs serious oversight and improvement.
I will be sharing this experience with family and friends, and I would strongly recommend choosing another Works location if possible. Unfortunately, this Kanata branch has become very unreliable.

If you're looking for a delicious burger and great service check out The Works! All the food for our table was cooked perfectly and brought out in no time at all. Recommend the onion rings with the bacon garlic aioli as it's made fresh in house!

Big fan of all Works Burger. Tragic Maple!! Try it!! Fabulous taste. Lunch special well worth the price $13.99 for a 4oz burger, endless fries and come with drink.

Unfortunately, I had a poor experience back in July. I cannot comment on the food because no one came to take our orders.

My mom and I went into the restaurant at approximately 7:30pm the evening of July 10th and we were quickly greeted by the hostess. She brought us to a booth and provided the menus. After about five minutes, the hostess came over and let us know that our server would be by shortly. We waited another 6-7 minutes without anyone taking our order and decided to dine elsewhere. No one stopped us on our way out of the restaurant, and there was a server standing near the exit.

I tried to reach out via email, but did not hear back from anyone.

The manager is an outstanding person. He really knows his stuff and helped guide me to exactly what I wanted to eat. The menu has a huge variety of food to choose from. The manager even came by to check on us and make sure everything was perfect. Definitely coming back!
