We had a delightful meal here yesterday. My salmon in filo pastry was so delicious I wanted to lick the plate. Every element on my plate was cooked to perfection, served hot and good to the last fork full. Will return next year for sure. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars was it was understaffed for how very busy it was.
After a day trip to Haliburton, we decided to have dinner before heading back to Toronto. We passed by this building that was right by the waterside and decided to look no further. The menu was surprising because it appears to be Italian/French cuisine, but many dishes included some sort of Asian flavour (curry, pad thai, wontons). We ordered the goat cheese wontons to start. This place is a hidden gem. The menu is a little all over the place however most of the items are fantastic. I've been coming here for years after backcountry trips in Algonquin and every time I am impressed. Everything from burgers to the gnocchi made in house is great. I highly recommend
